I left WOW because...it was screwing up my life. Everytime my wife wanted to have sex with me, i would be playing WOW and refuse to have sexual intercourse because i wanted to level up. It was sooooo addicting, and every time i had intercourse it seemed like my wife wasnt so into because i would have sudden outbursts of lines from the game. I would even have cyber sex with a few characters i'd meet, but i figured they were flirting to get my money. I stopped playing because i realized...theres more to life than WOW...i wanted to have ACTUAL sex instead of using my hand and masturbating to characters who were wearing provacative clothing...i mean..pixels. WOW is bad for your head...both of them.

Death Knight Hero Class being introduced.

That's about the only thing that might get me to start all over. I'd want to play with whoever plays from this site, so I'd have to reroll and do the whole 1-80 grind. Otherwise, sounds like a lot of bitching to come (just like when BC came out) from the hardcore raiders who were replacing their purples with greens on the first day of BC release. Should be fun!

When I took my break, I sharded everything on my 70 pally and gave it to my guild, along with all my gold, cloth, and all that stuff. I don't know, I might wake him up. Of course starting over with everyone sounds good too, in theory.

Holy shit, this is crazy...

1:28pm: Kirin Tor are setting up the final fight against the Dragonflight-- they're moving Dalaran to take a stand. It'll be the home city, and floating above the air, access it from the ground... or flying mounts. Very centrally located in Northrend-- we learned a lot from Shattrath, but build in a ton of lore and make it a really cool place.

also, this rumor from my guild forums: "from what was leaked about Death Knights, once your current character(if they are the select race/class) meets certain requirements you can create a death knight and start him right in the high end zone."

which could be interpreted as little to no leveling necessary.

That's not a rumor, that's how it's going to work. They haven't gone into extreme detail, but it seems that any race/class will be eligible after reaching a certain point (surely level 80, possibly with a reputation requirement, though I just made that up right now) and completing a quest/chain possibly on par with the Warlock epic mount chain, which I've never done so I can't comment. After that, you'll be able to create a Death Knight, which will start at an undecided high level (55, 60, 70...they haven't decided yet)

They also mentioned that while they aren't ruling out going back to "old world" stuff, they haven't done it for this expansion. They have the same line of "we only have so much time to work on things, and we'd rather create new stuff than revamp old" which I basically agree with. It would be nice for the old stuff to be reworked, but it's also nice to get new stuff. And they said they're either looking at, or already have implemented, speeding up 1-60 and 1-70 leveling, which is certainly welcome. I can get alts to the 20s or 30s, but after that I just want to blow my brains out.
