Heaven or hell. Let's rock!

So since Orestes was a Priest and not a Paladin I decided to reroll a Warlock, also since I wasn't enjoying Priest-ing as much as I thought I would. I stayed home sick from school today so I was able to level him up to 11, so I'm not far behind you or anything Justin. But anyway character's name is 'Aledan,' so please update accordingly I will probably transfer all my loot/money to him and delete Teleas soon.

Generally we have been playing at night, but that could be because I work during the day, and I believe Justin plays his main if we aren't online.

I play during the day sometimes, so you'd definitely have somebody to play with. And I'm sure you could play with us if you've got some nights off.

Holy shit where has this game been all my life? I started playing last week or so, and it's awesome. I play with the 'dorks on Mannoroth, as they've got a huge guild. The only problem is they're mostly all at lvl 60 (a bunch even have alternates at 60) already and so I'm pretty much alone.

Also Burning Crusade comes out tomorrow!! But I won't be getting it, at least not until I get to a higher level. I'm not anticipating a smooth experience when it first comes out, but I'm sure it will calm down after not too long. And if not, maybe I'll actually get some stuff done around here, this is one addictive game.

Also this game is great. I hit 40 today and got my mount, and the ability to wear plate, it is very exciting. I also bought BC a few weeks ago, right when the direct download thing came out. Looking forward to Outland stuff.

So you're a Paladin then? What do you think of the class so far? I've heard doing stuff solo is kind of tough after 40 and that there isn't much specialty gear 'till Outland, but I've always been interested in trying the class.

I've sort of stuck with a mage though. I love being able to do absurd amounts of damage with almost zero instance responsibility besides sheeping and the occasional decurse.

Nah, I'm a Warrior. It was kind of the opposite (for me, at least) where doing stuff solo was a real pain in the ass before, but is getting easier. As kind of a side note, I'm kind of pissed that paladins can wear plate. It seems like warriors should be the only class that gets to. A friend of mine is in his 50s as a paladin and I don't think he's had that much trouble doing stuff. Although I don't know how much he's doing on his own, he's near the level of most of the other people in our guild (which only has like 6 people, but it's just people we know in real life currently) so they do stuff together frequently.

Alright, maybe someone can can explain this to me. I played WoW for a while and was bored to tears. The people I know who play it seem to do it mostly out of responsibility to their guild. I really don't think I've ever met someone who thinks WoW is fun, they seem to do it because it is an easy way to consume their spare time. I realize these games aren't meant to be fun in the same way that, say, Mario Kart is, but I'm legitimately curious as to what people get out of this.

I think it's a fun game, but I can see getting to that point sometime in the future. I still like exploring the world, leveling my character(s), trying to get good gear, etc. Also I get to talk to my friends from PA on Vent so that's a plus.

Archimonde, eh? I may create an alt on there once I get my main over on Dark Iron to 70. Hunters are pretty easy to level.

I play WoW a lot these days and I think its really fun. Some folks just like leveling characters, but for me the game starts at 70. I like doing end-game instances and getting into the content that a lot of folks won't get to see.

And I've had as much fun doing world PvP as any game I've played.

I've moved to Auchindoun, one of the new BC servers. Most people hate playing Alliance there because of the hilarious population imbalance, but a 5:1 horde:alliance ration just means I get PvP whenever I want and no queues for battlegrounds.

Sometimes I wish I had played PvE from the start, because ganking gets annoying. Well, I'm alright with it, but camping starts to bother me. I understand that once I get to a higher level I'll probably do the same shit, but sometimes I just want to turn in quests and getting killed 6 times in a row by a level 70 mage who I did nothing to starts to wear thin. I guess that's the nature of PvP though, so oh well. Only a few places are really bad anyway (Stranglethorn Vale comes to mind)

Justin, Auchindoun is 5:1 Horde:Alliance? Usually the balance is comically the other way

I play a 70 paladin on the Madoran server (human). It's a great time, especially since our guild is about 10 people, so we're always able to field a team for dungeons and such. Wouldn't be against running with any of you folks on my newest character, wherever that might be.

My fury warrior just hit 65. Lame guild name not my choosing, and we're probably going to find some other guild we can join once we all hit 70 (there's only 4 of us) to do some raidin'. Or some "high end-game instancin'" at least.

Yeah I hit 68 with my warlock not long ago. If anyone is looking to reroll or what not, you should do so on Ravenholdt (Horde), my guild will gladly accept you (Netherstriders).

So the Armory has added a new feature that let's you search for upgrades to your gear and its awesome.

Psychobilly has been 70 for a while now, and I finally I replaced his last green item. Our guild is tearing up Karazhan these days, and I should be fighting Prince, Netherspite, and Nightbane this month.

67 and stalled, haven't done much actual work towards 68 yet. I've been running SFK for the Assassin's Blade and/or the other twink drop in there, but unsuccessfully thus far. After a run we launched an assault on Tarren Mill. It lasted about an hour, with the Horde getting people and driving us out (Southshore guards are absolutely fucking worthless, by the way) and us getting more and driving THEM out. People probably do this all the time but I don't PvP very often. 30 HKs and that's about a 10% increase of my HK total. (I've never been in a battleground). Tons o' fun.

as I mentioned in the jobless thread, my friend convinced me to try the BC trial and check out the new races. I made a Draenai priest and got him to level 8 yesterday, and some of the starter quests for the Draenai are really cool! I liked the furlbog totem quest where you keep getting really interesting buffs and then you have to free the prisoners at the end.

I still don't know if I have the skill/patience to play endgame content and I'm really bad at PvP, but if I have another excuse to play levels 1-40, I guess I may as well reactivate my account once the trial is up and give it another go.
