The most fun I ever had was level 60 Alterac Valley right after they redid the PvP reward system. I was a fucking damage machine with my mage despite not being geared out. By the time I got my GM gear I was a borderline God at PvP

I did the nerdiest thing imaginable and played the World of Warcraft Board Game last night. The rules are very complicated and there are so many tokens and things to keep track of, but once we got the hang of it it was very fun. Of course we were on the floor so it was harder to play and we agreed next time we'll have to be on a table and start earlier in the evening. Anyway, if you like WoW and board games, this is definitely something to try out!

Does it involve trivia? Or is it a D&D kind of game?

More D&D than anything, you select a character, there are Horde and Alliance players and you have to be the first faction to eliminate the boss (in this case Lord Kazzack). You do quests, level up, get new equipment/spells, and it's pretty fun.

Also, we've more or less come to a realization that we'll never get far in raiding so we're going to focus on PvP stuff. I at least want to see the instances and stuff, but I don't know if we're going to focus on them.

My prot warrior buddy might respec to get some mortal strike. I was Arms for a long time but switched to Fury sometime after 60. Then they fucking nerf Flurry and everyone is going back to Arms...

We actually did the same thing as the other night, did some PvP at Tarren Mill. Actually there was already a raid in progress so we did much better this time. 31 more HKs

Tarren Mill pissed me off because the horde would get swarms of fucking ultraguards and then when they'd come into Southshore they'd have to face the wrath of our level 35s.

Oh, and that one quest where Horde have to resurrect that one guy who rampages through Southshore because boy howdy is that fun when you're leveling a new character on a new server with a 5:1 horde:alliance ratio already.

Tarren Mill pissed me off because the horde would get swarms of fucking ultraguards and then when they'd come into Southshore they'd have to face the wrath of our level 35s.

Southshore has level 45 guards spread out so far that you can pick them off one at a time (or just ignore them because they don't give a shit--we watched horde walk through them and not get aggro) Tarren Mill has guards that if you attack one every other guard runs toward you. They also spawn like motherfuckers. Oh, and they have a 60 elite who stands in the middle of town and hits like a goddamn truck. Southshore has no elites. There is one in the town hall building, but he, like the other guards, does not attack.

Our arena teams are terrible (3v3 record: 14-37!!!!!!! 2v2 we just started but I think we only won 1 game) but this week I'm finally getting a Season 2 epic (I'll only have points for the gloves, but I'll take them--my current ones suck, they come from Blood Furnace. Seriously.) I think the points go out on Tuesday for the previous week, so I just have one more day to wait before my Hamstring costs 3 less rage!!!!!

I need to get my blacksmithing up (it's sub-200 currently) because the idea of a Deep Thunder + mace spec is making me salivate. Of course, if it took me this long to get my first epic, I'll get 8 Primal Nethers (!!!) in maybe 3 years. I can dream though, right?

Someone else say something in thread plz Anybody else Arena? Doing instances? Still playing at all? I got a Talbuk! And BlizzCon is next week!!! I wish I started playing WoW when everybody else did

Panda Attack has Karazhan on farm, but I never seem to get to go on the second night. Last night we downed Nightbane and Netherspite, so as it stands the only boss from that instance I haven't killed is Shade. We killed Magtheridon for the first time last week and we plan on killing both him and Gruul tonight.

With any luck I'll get my second piece of Tier 4.

The Netherspite kill got me my now unnecessary SSC attunement, which is still kinda cool. Pandas will be hurting things in there in a month or so.
