If you've got a GBA, you can just buy the flash cartridge for that and play GBA ROMs/homebrew on that without a DS involved, if that's all you're after.
I wanted to get one ages ago when I first read about them (back before they did fancy stuff like actually working all the time), and I still do, I'm just far too short on cash at the mo. I'd really like to have a tinker with what the DS can do, and try writing a game for it. From what I've briefly studied of GBA programming though, it's solid stuff. All that sprite layer and C/assembly level coding stuff is worlds away from the limited OpenGL C++ stuff I've done so far.
When I get a decent paying job though, I definitely intend to get one and a GBA flash cart. |

Or get PSP and play any Nintendo/Sega/SNES/Mame game ever. _________________ Asked yesterday whether it would eventually release a revised edition of "Opal Mehta," a little brown spokesman declined to comment. |
