I finally read this week's update, and Emily wins at internet for the week. I've written far too many of those type of books in my lifetime, and you've probably just inspired me to do an article about one of them. Of course it won't be a tenth as funny, but hey. I also appreciate that you "hid" a flower on every page. Nice.
Mike's "Ready 2 Fight" article was so amazing, and his design of course steals the show. I especially liked the end with the page tears and style transitions, and the P-Boi tag looks so striking against stark white.
Justin's article had me busting up at the mini-reviews toward the end. I love that Justin and Jon are usually the most verbose and cerebral writers on the site, and you can definitely tell when it's one of them. I think that dovetails nicely with the fact that they are the co-authors of THOG.
Speaking of Jon, his article from last week was really amazing. It was sweet and thoughtful, poignant and touching. It was like that song by that band C&C Music Factory, in that it made me emit a sound of preponderance..
I definitely appreciates Kyle's article and totally saw where he was coming from with all of his points, even though I didn't agree with some of his assessments. I am an avid reader of PA and PVP, and White Panther and I are actually in the PVP guild in World of Warcraft (yes, we are dorks. (To be fair, me much moreso than him.)). Tim Buckley is fucking clownshoes, though, and I have never understood the popularity of 8-bit theater. Anyway.
B's article, as usual, takes the cake. I don't need to tell anyone else, I know you all love it as much as I do.
Bring on tomorrow! _________________ And this is a promise, because this is true. This is real. This is Straight Edge.
