I want to congratulate Folby on his first article for us, and when you read it you'll see why I'm so happy to finally have him doing it. Folby's as good a writer as anyone here, and I'm going to have a smile on my face every time I find out he's writing something else. Great job, sir, you're one of my favorite people for a reason.

Special thanks goes out to Justin for busting his ass to try to get the Hangin' Out Gang archive prettied up and updated. We had some miscommunication on who was writing this week, so the unreliable one has become so reliable that I am now going to buy office supplies from him. Pirate night is dead.

My article was done on the spur of the moment too, and honestly it's going to be my last one for a while. I haven't lost my desire to write or to do the site, so it's absolutely nothing drastic, but I don't think I went more than a week without posting all of last year. I'm going to take a month or two hiatus and see where it takes me. I'm not going to pretend like I'm not going to be around. Hell, I'll probably post next week. Shift 6 underscore shift 6

Since it was my miscommunication that forced B to rush a post and by extension not want to write anymore, I feel obligated to tell him how much I enjoyed his post. Hell, I think we all really like it when he goes all old school on us and just does balls to the wall JOKE JOKE JOKE JOKE about some stupid shit he saw on TV. No, seriously, motherfuck. I'm blown away. I'm Timmy Timmons stuck in the sandlot treehouse when the vacuums explode & am covered with pieces of your post.

When I finished Admiral Bird I knew it was the greatest thing I had ever written up to that point, & I've tried to keep that level of quality in my posts here, even if I haven't always been successful. I hope to Christ you feel the same way about your first post here, because I love the shit out of it.


This part of my reply was initially occupied by a list of the things I loved about B's post, but you know what? Fuck it. I'm not copying every other sentence from the thing. B is constantly making me want to equal better. He writes naturally like I say wish I could until I shut the hell up & get my opening paragraph out of the way, & then I'm happy with what I do again. I wouldn't be writing here if we weren't soulmates via terrible, terrible puns.

p.holby's work is every bit as good as everyone has said it is. I just wanted to say that I really enjoy reading articles that are funny but you forget about it when you get involved with the story. Obviously the fact that it is a Muppet makes it fun, but I felt lost and forgot about it until her mom started freaking out. Excellent work.

B, as he is prone to do, has taken something from pop-culture and made it absurdly funny, but this time from Japanese pop-culture. Kudos.

Jon and Justin, thank you for making THOG easier to access and enjoy. I'll always appreciate the hard work.
