Seriously, when is that game going to come out? It seems like it's been in development since, well, Kingdom Hearts 1 came out.

At the very least it's going to be awesome. I mean, you've got (possible spoiler, only a list):

-Tifa (FFVII)
-Seifer and his posse (FFVIII)

And everyone from the first KH.

And any lingering doubts of "Oh, it's Disney, which means it will probably be bad at least a little bit" have been laid to rest by CAPTAIN JACK SPARROW.

I mean, even though I got tired of running around Tarzan's jungle and Agrabah in KH1, running around in the Pirates of the Carribean level is SO going to make up for it.

I too am looking forward to this. I particularly like how the battle system worked in the first game, where there were no load times. (Supposedly FF XII might be like this too....) Maaan, Halloweentown was great [spoiler:2e606bb0f1]and returns in #2. Also, Auron FTW.[/spoiler:2e606bb0f1]

I would've liked more Square in KH1. At least as like a party member or something. Instead, I got Aladdin. And Tarzan.

That said, I loved Chain of Memories, because I could summon Cloud. And that's all I did, the entire game. If I could've, I would've had an all-Cloud deck of cards.

I wanted to hate it because it seemed like not only another attempt for Disney to cash in on something, but it was cashing in on something that I loved. I envisioned it as a 40-hour commercial.

Instead what you got was a chance to fly with Peter Pan. I had really enjoyed the game up until that moment, but that sealed the deal for me.

Other than the one thing I heard today, I haven't really heard much about KH2. Still, I liked the first one. And I'm looking forward to this one too.

I loved that game, but never beat it. I ended up buying a "Greatest Hits" version that must have been corrupt, because the game ended up freezing at the end when [spoiler:3527715ed7]Sora is running towards Kairi.[/spoiler:3527715ed7] Anyone wouldn't happen to know where I could download a video of the ending, by any chance?

Also, I'm sure this has to do with the fact that they might not get the rights from Lloyd Alexander, but I've always been hoping that they'd have The Black Cauldron as a world. I'm a big fan of the book series, and it seems like it would translate well into the Kingdom Hearts world.

And I agree with Bismark. I didn't want to like the game either. My first impression was "I'm playing an RPG with Goofy and Donald Duck? This is retarded." That of course was rebuked. I'm glad to hear that [spoiler:3527715ed7]Maleficent is back. She was a wicked cool villain. One of the more underrated video game villains, I think.[/spoiler:3527715ed7]

I bought my PS2 solely for this game. I've been on pins and needles for the new one since two summers ago when I beat the first. It's cool to see how they are branching out the worlds.
