Nick, I come to you, hat in hand, to ask for forgiveness. I've been of the rather uninformed opinion that the Red Sox as an organization set out to destroy the reputations of players they weren't going to re-sign in order to decrease their value. It would now appear that players leaving Boston do get attacked, but it is by the media instead of the organization. I...I'm sorry.

Nick, I had no prior knowledge of what your were talking about nor who the people involved were. But your use of metaphors and other symbolic language is brilliant, so much so I understood exactly what you were saying. I especially loved the "girlfriend in hospital" metaphor.

My favourite bit in the Dugout event was the "trade for a cupcake" bit. Especially where Manny adds that there is a heart on the cupcake, like he thinks it's actually going to make a difference.

And the Wiki entry was good stuff too. It's odd -- whenever I think that P-Boi needs something, it usually happens within a few weeks. The Wiki entry. The RSS feeds.
