In addition, this is without a doubt the best B = Best Gallery update ever, and my eternal love for Fireball and his Official #1 Fan goes so deep, so deep, so deep put that ass to sleep.

In Classic P-Boi, loved Jon's Steve Martin article. First-time read for me, and made me chuckle...in part because I was remembering all the laughs from "Bringing Down the House"... _________________ Like hot naked chicks? Click here. |

God, this was one of the best weeks in the history of November 2005!
First of, Bill is the only person in the world that makes me laugh EVERY TIME he writes an article. Every article he's ever done has put me in stitches, and this one is no exception.
A Top 25 and Pee-Wee? Like peanut butter and jelly. Also, Lindy's first running gag! I'm putting that one in the baby book!
Jon is a great writer. I'm really glad he wrote this. I thought The Event was just a goofy end-of-the-world thing to default articles on, but now that I now what the Event actually is, I got to say, everything Jon has written became nine times the 9th more impressive. _________________

High 5's all around. I also must note that Jon is showing insane disipline in his writing. If I was doing something like that, I'd fill it chock full of movie and book references to various "events". Good show. _________________ Chuck Norris frequently signs up for beginner karate classes, just so he can "accidentally" beat the shit out of little kids. |

The man nodded in concession. "It's true. We don't. It's about...faith, that's all. I mean, a lot of that stuff in there is really silly. Stuff about the Yankees empire, and how they made money to stay rich by chaining Derek Jeter to a dungeon wall and beating him with a horsewhip until he spits out golden eggs from his vagina."

About the Pee Wee's Playhouse list:
Good fucking work, and about fucking time. I absolutely loved it, and am ridiculously pleased that anyone shares my love of that show, for all the same reasons. _________________

Bill is hilarious. Howie Mandel talking with Jeff Foxworthy was classic, and I BELEEEEVE sent me into hysterics. Good show.
B and Lindy's list made me wish I could have seen more of Pee Wee's Playhouse other than the compilation tape I had that the VCR ate when I was eight and the Christmas special I lost a couple years ago. It seems like a truly hilarious show and I am definitly planning on ordering a dvd of Pee Wee in the near future as a result of this article. But other than that, it was pretty fun to read.
Jon, the Event is fucking incredible. Just after reading about Casey asking what was on those RCA modems, I glanced over at my modem and my heart stopped, as I had never before noticed that it was an RCA. I thought back to the first page of The Event and really, at that moment, realized how brilliant this is. Fucking props, man. Terrific read. I can't wait for the rest. _________________

Wow, a really spectacular update, all-around.
B and Lindy's article was perfect. Just the right amount of heart and Thomas Haden Church. B consistently makes me feel better about thinking about things the way I did as a little kid, because, if not for articles like these, I'd be too embarassed to admit that I did.
Bill's streak continues. Seriously: bitch about your writing ability again and I'll assault you with something oversized and/or ridiculous.
Jon's more recent installment has me officially hooked. The potential for the story with the groundwork he's layed is amazing, and the best part is that he's delivering on those possibilities. If you ever stop writing this I will kill you. _________________

Bill's article was great, especially the conversation parts. He did well with those.
Also the statue thing at the end. _________________

I love Pee-Wee and am always taking shit for it. I have the VHS Box Set and am constantly getting "Is that Pee-Wee? Why do you have that? He's a masturbator and that show is crazy."

Okay! So I really thought that Bill's Scorpion article was really funny, and did a great job of making a synopsis of a movie that I will never see something that I enjoyed reading.
The latest installment of 192.168.100.1 hooked me like Dustin Hoffman, and now I can't wait to read what happens when they try to find one of those other modems.
And as for the Pee Wee's Playhouse List, this was one of those DO YOU REMEMBERS that despite watching this show as a child, I don't. The only thing I remember is Pee Wee riding off and the quiet desperation I felt as I watched on, hoping he'd change his mind and stick around for a while longer instead of leaving me to fend for myself against the inevitable boredom of a Saturday afternoon.
The rest of the show was a faint blur to me, but anyone who skips out on these posts because they didn't watch this or play that is really missing the entire point, which isn't just a Family Guy-level "Hey you remember that time when we made a joke about popular culture?" thing but something of actual substance.
I'd do a thumbs-up emoticon here if it wouldn't be really cheesy.
