I saw City of God last night, and it was one of the best, most engrossing movies I've seen in a long time.

Keeping with the South American theme, Maria Full of Garia was quite fantastic.

Boogie Nights - I liked it, quite a bit. I'm a sucker for sordid tales from the adult film industry, and I'm a big fan of Marky Mark, Breakfast Serious actor, so that was even better.

Let America Laugh - I thought it was damn funny. It's not a normal stand-up movie, but I was okay with that. I'm a big David Cross fan, so I'm sure that helped. That bit with Bob Odenkirk at the end was pretty awkward, though. I wanted to slap him and yell "Get over it, you fucking also-ran."

That bit in the club where the guy tries to kick him out is hilarious. David Cross is such a fucking dick. He was my avatar in the dead forum, and he'll soon be my avatar here, but I'm sure I'd never want to hang out with him.

Must Love Dogs.

Eh...I hate dogs, and I'm midly bothered by Diane Lane, but John Cusack makes my heart sing, so I enjoyed this one.

How could you be bothered by Diane Lane? She's not only an able actress, she's fucking gorgeous.

Guys like Diane Lane because she's mildly pretty and willing to show her boobies a lot. Women don't like her much because they find her only so-so on the looks (and the acting) and can't figure out why every guy seems to love her. This is why is makes no sense for her to be current queen of the shitty "dancing around a bean bag" rom-com.

Yeah, I'd like to go on the record to say that I don't think Diane Lane is all THAT gorgeous.

She made me want to move to Tuscany, so I'm thankful to her for that.

I disagree. I found it forumlaic and bland. She's the same person from beginning to end, gut full of heroin or not. Nothing was shocking or unexpected. You swallow drugs, and if the ballon bursts you die. Why hello there Maria's friend, why are you wearing that red shirt?

I was forced to watch Wrong Turn and Saw when I went camping.

I was forced to watch WRONG TURN when I went CAMPING...in WEST VIRGINIA.

It's a damn good thing that movie sucked, or else I might have been afraid the cannibals would get me.

UGH. That movie was AWFUL.

Also, oh Wesley, what have they done to you? *downgrade*

I recently got the ninja turtles trilogy, and the first season of the cartoon on dvd.

Anybody else like Wedding Crashers? I think that's the last movie I went to see...

You (apparently) don't even know the half of it.

Actually, Wedding Crashers was the last movie I watched in a theatre.

Not a movie, but I watched the first four episode of Maburaho from a DVD I borrowed from a friend. Basically, it's Harry Potter, only everyone wants to fuck Harry Potter.
