A Fat Bug, Looming Out of the Black Abyss

I couldn't help but notice a sparp dose of nice in the weather lately, and I was wondering what makes folks realize that spring is indeed upon us.

Mine monent of clarity came one night while driving through but crack middle of nowhere by the dark of night, as I am oft to do in my work. Anyway, as I sped along down a country road, through my high beams, I see a wafting speck fliting about in the night, and with a satisfying "thip" a yellow, greasy glob steaks up my windshield. The bugs are back. These are the simple joys of the Midwest.

I was just wondering what y'all thought, and anyone who lives in the southern hemispere can go cram it.

The weather in Virginia is as it always is: 80 degrees for three days, then heavy rain and snow for the rest of the week. We are big walking sticks of hypothermia, wandering betwixt the fabrics of emotional time or some shit.

It's no longer freezing out so going for a walk is no longer insanity... Then again being a weather hardened member of Frostbite Falls I spend 90% of my time outside in a hoody regardless of the temperature.

Plus the snow on the driveway is melting on its own. But it'll probably be mid April before Spring is really upon us.
