Steven, I read your article. While you don't think grammar matters, if you're going to be a Breakfast Serious writer, it does. Your article is good enough for the internet, but not ready for anything good enough to be published in my opinion. Unfortunately, if you're going to post something in this forum, where a lot of the readers are writers themselves, you're going to have to come up with something a little better. Like everyone said, parts of your article have been beaten to death. No one is going to read your article and think, "Hey, that's been said before, but this guy said it better," mainly because you didn't, but also because you can't discern "their" from "there" or spell any words correctly. If you want to talk about something that's already been talked about before, you're going to have to improve the content, not take a step backwards to mediocrity.

I was talking about the article you posted. Honestly, if that's the article you chose to share, I didn't feel the need to click any link you (whoopsie) supplied. So as far as I'm concerned, the "joke" of your article took up half of it. Did you have any other Breakfast Serious thoughts on the matter besides the population of Japan? Because a paragraph isn't enough for a complete thought that is to be considered an article. Was this supposed to be a joke or taken seriously anyway? What is your target demographic? It was a joke article based on dodgy facts (by that I mean common misconceptions).

I posted this on the www.boredom-induced.com forums besides here.

The reason I picked this one to share first is because it was the first one I saw on my articles page I thought you guys might dig.

And I don't get what you mean by "the joke of the article took up half of it" please clarify.

My target demographic is webrats who watch those crazy japanese clips, as well as porn fiends who watch asian porn.

Like I said before, it was a joke article it wasn't meant to be taken "that" seriously. That is to say I'm not doing my thesis on the fact japanese people make wierd porn.

Yes.

Only because the articles I have read on Progressive seem to appeal to that demographic. Like that lesbian kiss article.

But if this isn't the deomographic then thats fine, I relize my articles my not appeal to everyone, but I have gotten lots of positive feedback from different people. I already have a fan base, it's small yes. But I didn't post this article here as a new writing asking for tips on how to write and how to get my shit out there.

I am open to feedback yes, but like I said you are talking to someone who has been writing for awhile, my aritle's dates are recent do to the fact those dates are based on updates and my site's server was changed over and the articles had to be re-uploaded.
