The S is NoScript, which blocks all Java scripts except for allowances that you specify (annoying for a while until you get the sites you tend to visit all taken care of on the allow list, and then it's awesome), the monkey is Greasemonkey, which lets you cache your own slightly edited versions of websites such that you can block out annoying HTML shit, etc. You can download scripts to install into it to do so for you.
