This is totally not a big deal here, but let's try to not talk about future episode spoilers in current episode threads. I see "spoilers" and say "oh, okay, I can read this thread because I've seen this episode," and then I click and it's all JACK DIES NEXT EPISODE and I'm all

So yeah, if you wanna use future episode spoilers (and again, this one is nothing, just hypothetically) use the spoiler tags plz

This should apply to things in the "scenes from next week," which I purposefully avoid.

Are you sure he was in Season One? If so, where?

Totally. He was heading up security at the convention center when Palmer was to be assassinated. He was probably in more episodes than those couple, but I definitely remember him from them.

edit: Actually, now I recall him being brought on very early to head up security in Palmer's suite at the very beginning of the season. He also aided in the failed sting on Alexis Drazen. He was featured pretty prominently.

Great episode. But this thread needs Pierce love.

Did you know?
-Pierce is the only character besides Jack and Tony to be in all five seasons of 24 without getting dead (yet).

Did you know?
-Pierce does not emote like the rest of us. That is because his loyalty to the protection of the President of the United States has consumed him to the point where he is the coolest, calmest dude ever. He must be Buddhist or something.

Seriously, I LOVE the acting job the dude puts forth. Pierce is a heck of a hard character to portray without being bland, and he manages it. Maybe it's the endearing southern drawl. Maybe it's the loyalty with reason. But Pierce emoting, while subtle, is always impactful. Pierce emotes with a different blink of his eyes, that's how you know what he's going to do. You know that look Pierce had on his face when he saw Jack being taken away in cuffs? That minor expression on his face was the equivalent of you or me yelling out, "AUGH WHAT THE FUCKING FUCK." That's just how he rolls.

true dat. he's my favorite "minor" character, next to richards.

Aaron Pierce is the anti-"Slippery" Mike Novick.

Curtis is definately Black Bauer and deserving of more screentime. Without Palmer's "fuck you black guy" moments, I am left with a void.

Curtis is definitely a badass, but he's kinda bland as a character. What I want is for Tony to wake up and begin wreaking his vengeance.

Woah there, partner. Tony was involved in a major explosion which would've killed a lesser man. Judging by season three's convalescence, he's going to need at least... three more hours 'till he's up and ready to go.

Oh yeah. Pierce was most definitely a part of season one. He was working secret service for Palmer because of the increased threat. I remember how hard I marked for his return in season two, but I watch wrestling and am not used to little details of continuity like that.

This week's 24 was chock-full of moments that made me laugh from the combination of "Holy shit" and "FUCK YEAH!" It came out as a laugh.

Shut up.
