I really dug Powerman 5000's "Tonight the stars revolt" back in the day. It's still OK now.. but their new stuff is completely different; it's just generic radio-rock.
Daft Punk's "Human After All" wasn't as good as i'd hoped. It's still a decent album, but it's not Discovery or Homework. |

The Beatles - "Across the Universe"
Not many songs by John Lennon that I don't adore (well, at least with The Beatles), but this song is just crappy. Very whiney. |
You honestly can not be Breakfast Serious. This is one of the best songs written by Lennon (not including his solo stuff, which is also terrific). The lyrics alone make it a terrific song.

All of My Love is a terrific song, imo, but you're right - not one of Zeppelin's best. I guess it just goes to show how special they were. Same goes for the Beatles and Come Together. |

You know, I wish the singer for Circle Takes the Square would STFU for a minute so I could enjoy their music. It's not bad. But he does not need to scream. _________________ icesk8erkn: WHO R THO |

You know, this is more the case of "Mediocre Artists Go Fucking God-Awful," but Avenged Sevenfold's new album. Jesus Christ it's bad. I really loved Waking the Fallen, but sweet Lord above, City of Evil is shit. His voice now...ew. _________________ And this is a promise, because this is true. This is real. This is Straight Edge.

Actually, that would make it a terrific poem. _________________

Incubus's entire "Make Yourself" album. I mean, it used to be good, but then one day...something changed. I don't know what it was, but I don't want to hear it anymore. It's not as good as it once was to me.
Which, you know, makes me kind of sad. Used to love that fucking album. |

Al Stewart is a musical genius, but "Bad Reputation" would still suck even if Pink Floyd signed on to get back together to play while Peter Gabriel did his falsetto African callings in the background and the aliens returned Elvis to swivel his hips to it. _________________ The bucks flock here

Perhaps, like many other people, you got tired of Brandon Davis fitting more words than he needs to into a sentence.
Or you just grew out of it. I've had that happen before. It's a little depressing, sometimes. However it does make me go back and look at what I listened to and say "what the fuck was my problem?" _________________ shrieking raccoon on a jetpack |

I know how that is, every time I look at my CD collection and I see the likes of Ace of Base and the Insane Clown Posse staring back at me.
I also feel that way every time I look at Star Trek in general, but that's another story for another day. _________________ "PERFECT" |

I have an Insane Clown Posse-related tattoo. I still love ICP for what they are. Of course almost no one considers them "good" in any conventional sense, but they're the best at what they do. They are clowns, after all.
In keeping with the theme of the thread, I'd like to submit ICP's "Hell's Pit" as far and away the worst thing they've ever produced. Thank God that they're finally getting back together with Mike E. Clark, as it's getting to the point where I'm about ready to stop buying their releases.
Does anyone find it odd that I have tattoos related to ICP, Alkaline Trio, Stavesacre, Hope Conspiracy, Tiger Army, and the Muppets? Because I think it's awesome. _________________ And this is a promise, because this is true. This is real. This is Straight Edge.

Well, whether you want to call them good or bad is subjective, I guess. They weren't so bad that I never bought their albums.
In my case, ICP was something I got into thanks to peer pressure, and because they said 'fuck' a lot, and that was just fucking funny. _________________ "PERFECT" |

My roommate, who is a bigger Ryan Adams fan, made the same comment to me a couple weeks ago, when I was listening to Heartbreaker a lot and the occasional one two one whoo was slowly giving him some kind of neurotic breakdown. |
This still pisses me off. _________________ them's jokes, boy |
