This was a truly phenomenal update all around.

Emily, it really is great to have you back. Your voice really rounds out the staff. Your articles tend to be more grounded while still managing to bring the funny, and bring it in spades. I watched The Stand when it first aired, having read the book three times in middle school. Still, somehow the final episode managed to scare me back then. I'm kind of odd. Anyway, I'm eagerly awaiting the future installments (can't wait until you get to [spoiler:2c835eda71]King himself showing up[/spoiler:2c835eda71]), and you may have inspired me to write my own article about Stephen King's second-greatest miniseries, The Langoliers (starring TV's Balki).

B, what can I say? You never fail to crack me up and amaze me with your fantastic articles and even more amazing wit. Don't stop putting the B in R&B, because you demonstrate quite handily the lack of things wrong with all manner of bumping and/or grinding.

Jon, you magnificent bastard. Your article had me laughing like a maniac here at work (Tryin' ta keep a "straight-face" so yer boss doesn't give ya "the business"!). You manage to win the title of "funniest post o' the week" against some EXTREMELY stiff competition. Also, you need a fansign page.

Although I'm not allergic to cake icing like runaround apparently is, I think that is was another fantastic update (don't you be looking at me like that I ain't gay or nothin).
I don't understand how B can get so much material and be funny about it. Jon's post had me laughing for a looong time. I got self aware about it, being in a library at the time, but I couldn't stop. Emily's post was a killer, too. I decided not to read it all since I still want to see the movie, but it's obivious she's still in top shape. Welcome back!

EDIT: Just curious,who writes the update section and the subheadings in the forum? I'm guessing B and Justin, but there's no way to be sure.

What does a man do when he's had his girlfriend stolen four times by the same man, resulting in murder, homelessness, and kidnapping? You can do one of two things.

1) Accept it. You're rich, powerful, and can have anything you want. Let R. Kelly have the trampy women who don't deserve you anyway, and if you ever want to have decent sex again make a conscious effort to move away from where R. Kelly lives.

2) Call up Hannibal Lector the Fictional Character and ask him to eat R. Kelly.

I've been reading the site since late 2003/early 2004-ish, and I love Emily's articles and I love the Stand. I guess that sums it up.

As far as B's article goes... It's B writing about R. Kelly. It's fantastic. That's it.

And Jon made me laugh out loud multiple times. In other words, these articles (and comics.. it's friday) are why I will never stop visiting this site.

Great all-around update. The new layout didn't even count as one of the three posts!

The new design is, in my opinion, by far the best there's been on this site. The color scheme is downright astounding, and the joy on Calvin and Hobbes's faces is classic. I think I spent at least as much time just scrolling up and down the page as I spent reading the articles, like staring at the sky. It's a work of art.


All three posts made me laugh to the point of getting strange looks. Emily's was right up there with her funniest writing, and I'm looking forward to the rest. B's article gave me a new appreciation of R. Kelly's artistic sensibilities. That's a key part of what sets P-Boi apart for me- it goes beyond the standard ways and means of putting a new spin on a topic, and the article fit in as many jokes as any Trapped in the Closet review could have. Jon's review was a classic, one of the things I'll show to my friends when I tell them how hilarious this site is.

In conclusion, thanks for more wicked awesome stuff.

Can't believe I haven't told Mike how much I'm absolutely loving the new site design. One of the reasons I was so drawn to the site initially was because of the serene beauty of the autumnal design. If I lived in a place where it snowed, I am convinced that winter would be my favorite season. I love the fact that a website can instill in me these feeling of serenity and wonder. Just this morning I scrolled all the way down on the main page and to my delight discovered the cavalcade of snow creatures. For some reason I especially love the blue gradient on "Progressive Boink." Keep up the wonderful work.

I can't say anything about the update that hasn't been said. I really did laugh out loud at all of the articles this week, and I'm looking forward to the rest of Emily's 'The Stand'. I watched it when it was on T.V. and I remember it being much better than it was, apparently. Anyway, awesome layout and amazing content this week (and every week)
