Too bad Sweet Sapphire is dead. Then they could've had the whole "Shelton's mama" thing run its course and then segue into a program where Dusty is Shelton's real daddy (featuring CLUBBERIN', if you will).

I assume from the fact they need a casting call that Shelton's real mother was either:
a) Not fat enough
b) Too sensible to get involved in silly wrestling angles

I read this on a newsboard today:
- WWE will be doing a spin-off of the popular Campbell Soup commercial that features Donovan McNabb and his mother. WWE will be doing this spin-off using Shelton. They are looking for someone to play the role of Shelton's "Mamma".
Also on that site, I saw an ad for Western Union with John Cena's Asian equivalent.
