Legopiece Theater: In Which Rui's Car is Towed

Hello website, my name is Al. I make Lego plays about the baseball Cardinals for SBNation Saint Louis. The yarn I am about to spin has to do with neither the Cardinals nor Saint Louis, but does involve Legos. It also involves a young man named Rui.

I have never met Rui, but we are Internet friends and, occasionally, enemies (INTRIGUE!). He is a young man who works in the thriving soccer industry and enjoys that "Call Me Maybe" song thing a little too much. He's a Trojan man from way back. Last week, his car was towed.

This is his story.

Our industrious young hero, having dealt with a web of bureaucracy, failures of technology, the crushing of dreams, shiftless tow companies, lazy police, the unreasonableness of the unreasonable, and amazingly blatent racism -- all within the span of a few short hours -- eventually provailed.

Albeit without a car for the next few weeks.
