Well I do know of The Format. I actually requested that one of their songs be our senior class song in high school. I just didn't know you were referencing the band, and thought you were saying that Margot's format was uninteresting, and that's what I didn't understand.

Anyways, I've seen both bands & think they're both quite entertaining, except by the time Margot is done getting everything set up/perfect, they only have time enough to play about 4 songs. Also, the singer looked like Mexican Dave Grohl.

I can't help but feel as though erica or should I say Erica greatly downplayed how awesome Nightmare of You was live. Their guitarist is better than his band probably lets him be on record, but he's impressive live. In any case, for anyone interested, they played a new song (didn't give a title) and it was really dance-tastic.

Also, they really should tour with Murder by Death on some kind of 'no wait listen, we're not heavy metal bands despite our names' tour.

A dangerous precedent at my old high school has been set, where the class song has a 2 year cycle of "Graduation" by Vitamin C, and then "Freebird".

My class successfully voted in "We Are 138" by the Misfits but the student council said that wasn't a good graduation song. Freebird it is! As for graduating colors let's vote in the school's team colors too!!!

I wish there was 138 of us, but no it was more like 122. There is pretty much a running joke about We Are 138 among me and my friends, or was I guess back in high school. Just us declaring it the greatest song of all time and all that other hyperbole usage for the sake of humor, although we did genuinely enjoy the song natch. And it being the class song would have been the ultimate, but oh well, getting a stoner native that didn't even dress up to win homecoming king that year was enough I guess.

To this day we point out when something is numbered 138, whether it be the time, on some tv program, weighing 138, having 138 of something, or whatever. When we went to a Smackdown! taping me and all my friends were ecstatic because all our tickets said "Row 138"

Yeah the Smashing Pumpkins are playing SEVEN shows at ONE venue in SF in like July, and even the people on the radio announcing the dates were like, "What are they thinking? There's no way in hell they're going to sell out seven dates in the Bay Area."
