i went to starbucks for work today. it was the first time in a year or so, since i dont like coffee. but there was tom waits new cd, and i was highly pleased and a little impressed that they had it. then when i put it on the counter, the barista gave me this chuckle and half roll-eyes and i remembered why fuck that place.

hahaha i work at a starbucks and it's usually people coming in who make snarky comments about the music and i'm just like "yeah, people sure do have varying tastes in music" because what compels a person to tell a total stranger that "coldplay is the herpes of music" before ordering what's ostensibly the herpes of coffee?
