gnarls barkley did a song

it is called "necromancing"

It's naughty, very naughty necrophilia
Without a care I'm compassionate about killing her
I'd have my way with what's left of the will in her
Cosmopolitans, and cocaine, and an occasional pill in her
When she spoke I saw a spark, but it was dark so
I drove her home when she died, sexy suicide
Sweet nothings for the numb, you feel where I'm coming from?
Have no fear, everything's fine, my girl parties all the time

Did you hear what I said? With this ring I thee wed
A body in my bed, she was cool when I met her
But I think I like her better dead

There's an old song, this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4kfTuNdku3A that I forgot about until recently because it's been long enough that for nostalgia reasons it is cool to play it again on the favorite radio station of many of my co-workers.
Like any song that is graphically sexual or makes me have to think of the singer and another party having some sexual activity grosses the heck out of me. I wish they'd keep it between the two or howevermany of them and not crow about it publicly.
But my brother pointed out:
"If you are going to point fingers at sexual references in songs, it's like handing out speeding tickets at the indie 500" which is apparently a reference to Apocalypse Now. But yeah it occurs in a lot of music. I guess it is nothing in comparison to necrophilia and pedophilia but still it's a lot more common and at least hopefully the latter are used jokingly.

Most definately.

In fact, the book has a chapter devoted to butterfly songs and how creepy they are. Bob Carlisle's Butterfly Kisses is one of them (and it is a damn creepy song), along with Mariah Carey's Butterfly, and Weezer's Butterfly. There was another one that I forgot, but a lot of Butterfly songs are creepy.

Creepy in a way that it turns into a ohrwurm and burrows into your subconscious.
