I saw them when they came to town about two years ago. It might be the most amazing thing I've ever personally witnessed.

I picked up a collection of blues/folk stuff called 'American Primitive - Pre-War Revenants 1897-1939.' It's really interesting stuff and if anyone is interesting I could post the link.

actually i'm thinking of goodbye, babylon which is a box set of gospel from the first half of the century but that still sounds cool folby

edit: and if you're interested in such stuff, Dust-to-Digital is an awesome label. they have a collection of sacred harp songs which i am so buying right now.

Great, I am training a new person at work today and now I don't think I'll be able to resist attempting to work in something like "And remember to ask yourself at all times 'Is my conduct appropriate in light of the accomplishments of RZA, GZA, Ol Dirty Bastard, Inspektah Deck, Masta Killa, Ghostface Killah, Method Man, U-God AND Raekwon?'"

i didn't say you were hating on them just that your one man pity pub wasn't really fitting for the lyrical fire of the killa bees

apparently you are unclear on the concept of phase 3, a level of drunkenness wherein one's appreciation for music is elevated to superhuman levels.

(for perspective, phase 5 is posting on the internet about being drunk)

my guitar teacher gave me

Danzig "Danzig"
System Of A Down "Toxixity"
Soundgarden "Superknown"
The Beatles "Abbey Road"

again, a pretty sweet mix of silly stuff.

Is Ghostface Killa a Killa working under the Masta Killa, or do their prefaces have to do with their occupations, ie. Masta Killa is a Killa of Mastas?

It's Ghostface Killah; clearly the two are very different.

What's the difference between a Killa and a Killah?

Besides their level of refreshment, I mean

I bought Chrome Dreams II, by Neil Young. It's kind of all over the place which isn't necessarily bad. Ordinary People and The Way are both really good.
