Black Album songs are much slower with less harsh vocals than MOP. Master Of Puppets sounds very pretty at certain points (the little picked bit half way through the title track for instance, and the acoustic opening to the album, sanitarium sounds really nice too) but if you like pretty songs you should probably look into some of their later stuff.

I guess I should clarify that I think Don't Tread On Me and Wherever I May Roam are pretty songs. Etc, et al. I like all the songs on that CD is what I'm sayin', and I even hum along to the guitar when I'm not singing along.
