Rock Band 3

Postby Alan » Fri Jun 11, 2025 7:45 pm

Guys! Rock Band 3!

http://www.rockband.com/zine/rock-band-3-announcements

I love music games, I think they are fun and answer my need to be a rockstar without having the talent to do so.

BUT! I also have tried learning the guitar in vain, and maybe this will help those worlds collide.

And if not, it's going to be fucking awesome playing Rilo Kiley, Sister Christian*, Bohemian Rhapsody, and many more they haven't announced yet.

Also: Keyboards!

*you guys wanna play baseball?

This whole entire album is dreadful. It made me lock myself in the closet and almost puke. If I ever hear any of these songs ever again I will drive a stake through the singer's heart and dance the "Tango" on his skull.

Power of Love!?! Damn, must buy.

I'm enjoying Lego Rock Band these days. Great songs, plus I love the Lego elements. But I'm sure eventually I'll get tired of playing the same songs over and over and will have to graduate to something new.
hey guys buy my book ok?

And The Sounds! If they have Rock Band 1, Brian and Pru can play The Sounds and The Hives back to back!

Im sure it would be just as fun as any other Rock Banding type game to play, but not a whole lot of those songs inspire me to feel excited to play them. In most cases I'd rather just listen to them, or avoid the shit out of them (Walkin on the motherfuckin Sun)

Rock Band 2 was awesome because I loved lots and lots of the songs on there.

This is pretty much just Yoshimi, Heart of Glass, Bohemian Rhapsody, and Don't Stand So Close To Me. :/ not worth getting.

No doofy, those are the only songs on the list she finds intriguing as far as playing Rock Band is concerned, and so it's not worth purchasing. This shouldn't be this hard to wrap yer noggins 'round people.

I did not, however, realize that there is a keyboard and new guitar format though. Interesting.
