It didn't help that we were in a game with a bunch of really good players. It can be discouraging to play when you are that far below them in terms of experience, but when you are somewhat evenly matched with at least some of the other team, the game is a lot of fun.

I played with Bis and Jordan for a long time. We tried to get Rory in but things were just filling up so fast it was hard to get everyone we wanted in. We ended up falling in with a bunch of members of the "Brute Squad", which despite its generic sounding name was a really great group of guys who were a) good, b) respectful of everyone else, and c) funny. I had a blast hanging out with everyone and hopefully we can play with those guys again sometime.

Coming back from the PC, the number of maps seems a lot restrictive now. What I wouldn't give to be able to switch over to Goldrush or Warpath or Steel. Still, it was fun and it was cool that we got to play Hydro since a lot of people I meet don't seem to like that map.

Sorry about missing the game guys but I finally managed to wrangle three other people to play Rock Band with me after owning it since December and I just couldn't pass it up. I'm up for playing tonight though if anyone is interested.

Casey, are you refering to the BS squad? The first game I played with them was a 8v8 match on Granary where they handed everyone on my team their ass so badly they had four level three sentries right outside our spawn point which in turn were being guarded by Pyros and Soldiers. It wasn't until half an hour later where my teammates finally listened to me and we ubercharged our way out of there that they just took the final point at which point they mocked us and every subsequent match I play with them I either get mocked endlessly or outright kicked out at the startup screen. In short they're jerks and I hate them.

"BS squad"? Most of them had "[Brute Squad]" in their motto. They didn't have any indicator in their tags. The guys we played with last night were (and I might mess up some of the tags a bit) TheRew1, Lemon Headed, pokerchamp2008, ChocobosGoKweh, A Random Noob... I think there may have been a couple others. They were really cool and when some other random guy on our team was trying to glitch skywalk on the last Dustbowl cap point they were yelling at the guy just as much as we were (I reeeeally wish I could kick people who were on my team during a round). I can't really see these guys acting like that-- TheRew1 was really friendly and when he asked for a medic and I volunteered but said "I don't have much practice with medic so I'd appreciate if you'd help me" he was really nice and gave me lots of instructions and stayed really patient with me even when I did something stupid.

All of them had BS right in their gamertags. I know one of them is Jokerz Wild or something to that effect. If I'm confusing clans my apologies.

Ok, well I'm kind of relieved about that at least. My offer to play tonight is still good though. I keep forgetting the time zone but I should be on in around three hours from this post.
