Progressive Boink

Admittedly, the plot is a little thin, and so far it seems to consist of people impeding your progress to make you solve a puzzle, but the puzzles are all really great so far.

For instance, so far into the game I've come across a "take animals across a river" and a "find which weight is the lightest out of 8 using a scale only twice".

So if you like logical and lateral thinking puzzles, and you also like beautiful Miyazaki-esque visuals, this will pretty much be game of the year for you.

I want this so badly, but I just had to buy gifts for the boyfriend's birthday, and couldn't quite convince myself that he would believe that I really bought Professor Layton and Zack & Wiki for him. Oh well, tax return should be coming this week.

(I ended up with getting him both Assassin's Creeds, btw.)

I bought it yesterday because I was so excited for a game like this. It's so much fun so far and really well done. I love this game a lot

I started it earlier, then got paged and went into a huge disaster mode on work stuff for three hours. I'm going to play Warcraft with Gretchen now, but when that finishes I am considering staying up until the wee hours of the morning to play more of this game. Holy crap, it's so awesome.

Have any of you unlocked any of the bonus puzzles? They're pretty insanely difficult.

Also, there's already a downloadable puzzle over Nintendo WFC, which is pretty tough too.
