Well, I finally bit the bullet and dropped herbalism/alchemy for tailoring. I had been hesitant to do so because I didn't want to spend too much time farming cloth (or too much gold buying it) and because my bank was literally full of herbs I hadn't used. I decided to clean it out, sell all the potions and elixirs I could make with all the extra shit, and start fresh.

Ironically, as I was cooking up all my last potions and elixirs, I discovered the Flask of Fortification. Ah well. Any way, with minimal gold spent and effort (I AOE'd Stocks for about an hour straight to get all the linen, wool, and silk I needed) I got to 299 tailoring (ran out of rugged leather) and have a couple tons of netherweave and arcane dust in the bank to get me to 375...I had to come to work before I could get that finished. Then I have to make the choice of PvP or raiding, because that will determine whether I go frozen shadoweave or spellfire set.

Also, I'm powerlevelling enchanting and got to 250 or so with everything I need to get to 300 banked.

I use to be part of a hardcore raiding guild and had little life outside of WoW. Ugh...must...resist...temptation. With Wotlk coming out eventually I'm thinking of rerolling.

Just finished up my Bro-zen Shadoweave Shoulders and got my enchanting to 350 so I can finally do some useful stuff.

I'm having real issues with my guild, or rather certain people in it*. Maybe if I end up leaving it I can transfer the ol' Warrior to Archimonde.

*I got into an argument with a shaman over spell hit. He said you don't need any. He had people agreeing with him. I nearly quit the guild on the spot.

Well, I PvP a lot and Matt isn't quite sure what he's going to be doing so don't transfer if you're expecting immediate endgame raiding. Transfer if you want to play with some buds and have a few laughs along the way.

That pattern is surprisingly do-able...maybe I'll work on you crafting me a pair of those for my PvE set.

I dunno what the last update I made was, but yesterday I hit exalted with Lower City and bought Shapeshifter's Signet which puts me three pieces away from full epics: Chestpiece and two trinkets. It also put me over 14k unbuffed HP. I do have the Violet Badge, but I don't use it often. I got the shoulders from Netherspite (these) and finally got the belt from Moroes (this). Finally, I'm over halfway to the 60 badges needed for the ol' chestpiece

I made my Spellstrike Hood tonight. Now once I slap an enchant on my sword and get the exalted Aldor shoulder enchant I'll be well above +800 fire damage.

New mage top damage spec: 2/48/11 with Icy Veins instead of Arcane Concentration. Have you tried out Icy Veins yet, Justin? The spell haste affects all spells, not just frost.

Psychobilly finally got his second piece of T5 gear on Tuesday when we one-shotted the first four bosses in SSC. I've passed on drops to save DKP for the pants, and it finally paid off. Now I'm hoping to pick up the gloves and the [Spyglass of the Hidden Fleet] that drops off trash for PVP.

Panda Attack killed A'lar for the first time last night. I wasn't able to attend, but we'll be fighting Solarian tonight. Once we kill her, we just have Kael'thas and Lady Vashj between us and Mount Hyjal!

We're very anxious to get in there because word on the street is that the first couple Hyjal bosses are actually closer to a level of bosses we're one-shotting in SSC. T6 gear is right around the corner!
