That was a suitably epic end (?) to the Buster-Ari feud. I can't believe we've lived through years of Ted Dibiase, JBL, Snake Eyes, the Taylor-Made Made Terry Taylor, etc. and never seen a knockout with a money clip before. Ari's "YOU NI..." bit was a laugh-out-loud momet.

* Another typically great promo from Snake Eyes. I guess I could point out that falcons are pretty large birds and thus could probably snag and eat a normal snake pretty easily, whereas snakes probably catch, I dunno, sparrows or wrens or whatever shit, but Snake Eyes is a gambler, not a zoologist, dammit. The King of the Metaphors strikes again. (What's a metaphor? For givin' ta war heroes, silly!)
* I like to think that Buddhism is correct and that Sleep Disorder did something really horrible in a past life and now he has to work his way through a multitude of cycles of rebirth, gaining a bit of good karma each time, and in this particular incarnation he is a confusing Pennsylvanian ghost wrestler who has to answer to Gregory Funman. I would boo the fuck out of him if I saw him wrestle in real life, but in PGA he's kind of oddly endearing.
* I'd be lying if I said that about half of my Brandon O'Brien fandom wasn't based in the fact that I love the shit out of the spinning backfist as a finisher. His adding a backdrop driver to his repertoire is icing on the cake.

* Dawkins growin' some cojones! And rightfully so. All the visuals, from GANJU in the helmet to the crude diagrams of the Puppets on the walls, are just great. The Cavendish Estate coming to terms with the zaniness of Lucharesu because their opposition is even crazier is really enjoyable and sensible. Oh noooooooooooo plush puppet spies!!! * I never realized just how small Brutal is. I'm not positive where the junior heavyweight division cuts off, but I'm pretty sure that 175 pounds entails that even competition within his own division could weigh around 50 pounds more than he does. Of course, wearing a gi and using the katahajime, among other moves, implies that he's a judoka, so I guess his size is pretty irrelevant at the end of the day.
* "I just wanted to protect her" is Brutal's way of saying "yeah I do have a crush on her, but don't we all and if I say that out loud it's just more fuel for Genius's fire". And like HK pointed out, this is a fed where Chip Sandles was thrown to his doom by Helm Konrad and Brandon O'Brien had to step in with a baseball bat to prevent harm to Ruby at the hands of LBJ. Maybe Pru isn't in immediate physical danger at Genius's side in the same way, but it's a fact that Genius keeps using her as a physical prop. Since she doesn't realize it, however, there's little he can do but step back and hope nothing terrible happens to her in the meantime. This isn't William Murderface pretending to be honourable and stepping in to yell "IF ANYONE SAYS ANYTHING TO YOU I'LL BEAT THE SHIT OUT OF THEM." I have a lot to say about Brutal and how this feud has turned him into prospectively the most human character in the PGA, but I'll save that for another time when there isn't a show going on.
