Seriously, whenever I go out of town there is a 5 Guys everywhere I go and no one ever wants to go there for some reason. This Fall I'll have to give 'er a shot.

Five Guys is a beautiful thing. But be prepared that a small fry is like enough for three people. Large feeds a family of ten. Cajun version is the best but your fingers will be orange and you'll go through like ten refills of your tasty beverage. Also, PEANUTS.

I just like cheese and onions on my burger, but I'm boring.

I also flipping love the peppercorn seasoning from Chili's, ordered on the side and applied liberally.

Honestly when I go to like a fast food place or just some lame family restaurant, I just get cheese and ketchup on my burger. Lettuce is a waste of everyone's time if you're eating any other leafy greens in a given day. I hate onions. I hate pickles. I hate tomatoes. Etc.

I can try some wacky stuff at burger specialty places though. I had a burger with cheese curds on it a few weeks ago. I was actually pretty underwhelmed, though. If you stack a burger with enough toppings eventually you won't notice half of them.
