Victory's HopDevil is a tasty IPA. It's nearly identical to Sierra Nevada's Celebration IPA.

A new upscale liquor store recently opened up here. They emphasize wine and liquor so the beer selection isn't very good. This actually turned out to be a good thing.

They have Goose Island's Bourbon County Stout in four packs. Just like everyone else, they charge $19 for the four pack. However, someone apparently fucked up and they're selling single bottles for $2.99. It's pretty goddamn good. Between this and Allagash Curieux, I'm beginning to think I might actually enjoy good bourbon if I were to give it a try.

The Goose Island Bourbon County Stout is their tastiest beer. I do like their Summer Seasonal as well although that varies greatly batch to batch.

So at some point last year Brooklyn Brewing and Schneider hooked up and brewed the same beer in one anothers' facilities using different hop varieties. It's a weizenbock that's dry-hopped like an IPA. I got ahold of the Schneider version tonight. Holy shit, it's fucking delicious. It's kinda like Houblon Chouffe, but hoppier and with a hefeweizen vibe moreso than a Belgian vibe (for obvious reasons).

Picked up a 12-pack sampler from Two Brothers Brewing. So far I had the Dog Days (Dortmund lager) and the Domaine DuPage (biere de garde). I tried the Domaine DuPage the other day and really liked it. Dog Days is a really crisp, tasty lager. I'm looking forward to trying the four other beers.
