Fantastic Mr. Thread

Postby Magnus J. Perriculum » Tue Aug 04, 2025 12:07 am

Saw the trailer for Fantastic Mr. Fox before Funny People and I'm realllll excited for this. I love Wes Anderson, this has a great cast, the stop motion is really impressive looking and, you know, Roald Dahl.

It's pretty striking and weird how well the typical Anderson pacing comes through in an animated movie.

Sure, I'll post to say I'm looking forward to see this very muchly. Plus I dig how Anderson has adapted his deadpan cinematography style for animation.

Looks like fun. The voice cast is top notch.

Yeah I really enjoyed this movie. Really good work by Anderson and his puppeteers. Easily the best movie he's made in several years, and one of my favorites of the year. Also, explaining cricket in 25 seconds (kinda)
