I just discovered that as a member of SABR, I have the home addresses, personal emails, and phone numbers of a lot of the members, including Bud Selig, Stan Musial, Rob Neyer, etc.

That's all I could think of right now (that were members) because I'm feeling kinda sick, but this is awesome.

I spent the whole time from the 8th to the 11th in game two last night on the edge of my seat holding out that the Indians would pull through and get in a win at Fenway and I'm so proud to have seen them not only pull it off, but survive through Papelbon to score the most runs in an extra-inning ever. Motherfucking Franklin Guiterrez pulling off a three-run homer in the 11th was the biggest surprise of the night after Mastny's awesome save.

I love my team.

i went to sleep before the game was over, and i woke up to see that they scored SEVEN RUNS in the 11th. that's awesome. do they play 2 or 3 in cleveland now?

What do you all think about the Rockies? How long do you think they can continue? I think they'll beat AZ at least. And I think if they had to face the Indians it'd be a good series, but I don't know about them facing the Red Sox.

every year people are like "THE ALCS IS THE DE FACTO WORLD SERIES!!!!!!!!!! YANKEES IN 3"

so its kinda cool to see a team like the rockies who have lost once in the last month in the world series, because they've got to give the ALCS champ a battle, right?

the funny part is, if this was a team like the phillies or a NY team, or a team with a ton of history like the dodgers or giants, this would be the story of the century, but because it's the rockies, it almost feels like they'd rather talk about the yankees losing in the ALDS.
