I've only ever seen Super Dragon wrestle once, and it was in a multi-man brawl. He did the double stomp to BJ Whitmer's head while it was trapped in a chair, so that was pretty cool. Other than that, all I know about the guy is that he drops people on their heads (a lot) and is essentially a human sausage. also

he dont want none

Who is fatter: Super Crazy or Super Dragon?

Both are quite pudgy.

Super Dragon once (allegedly) monkey-flipped a fan. That's pretty much all you need to know about him.

He's loads of fun to watch when he gets to be a big bully against smaller wrestlers eager to get abused. The first match he had with Evans in PWG (back when they still ran shows at the green-carpeted Jewish community center) was probably the best singles match I've ever seen anyone get out of Jack. When he steps into indy dreammatch territory against guys like Joe, Ki, Homicde and the like ... not so much. Wish he'd have been in the Cage of Death last summer instead of Kingston or Webb.

I also find it pretty incredible how much shit he gets for being dangerous in the ring and whatnot ... When, say, Mori and Nigel come away from a match with broken noses and concussions, everyone just raves about how clearly they could hear those lariats connect. When Gabe ran a fake injury angle with Dragon and, of all people, BJ Whitmer (a guy who has been dropped on his head by a good cross-section of the current indy population pretty much continually since about 2002) everyone's all up in arms about how he could book an unprofessional fucker like that. It boggles the mind.

When somebody winged a roll of toilet paper at his head at the Cleveland ROH show two Aprils ago and missed, Super Dragon turned around and slowly, sarcastically clapped in the direction of said individual. Then he delivered like six versions of INDY DRIVER #612~ to BJ Whitmer, subsequently managing to rally the entire crowd behind the clod, who then finished off Mr. Dragon with an Exploder '98 off the top through a table on the outside.

That's the only time I've seen the guy wrestle, and I'd say that's not bad for a night's work. Thumbs up.

I suggested Super Dragon almost entirely for your post, so thanks! (If you know which fan he monkey flipped the whole thing is twice as funny.)

My thoughts on Super Dragon are basically that I like him, but don't want to watch him wrestle. Part of the reason I like him is that he's managed to cultivate Super Dragon the legend in an era where everyone is human and I've had beers with Homicide. I mean, I've heard that he takes puts his mask on 30 minutes before he arrives at a show and doesn't take it off until 30 minutes after his departure. It's not true, but somebody thinks it is. This touches a bit on what Illinois said, but people really BELIEVE in Super Dragon. He's a goofy tubby guy in pajamas, and people believe his this super-reckless complete dick who would gladly snap some jobbers neck and then fuck his girlfriend. He's got that kind of heat that Chris Hero had for a very brief time in ROH where people booed him because they really, actually didn't like him. So I like Super Dragon the attitude, Super Dragon the legend. But I don't like his wrestling matches. He's mastered the being-a-dick part of beating up someone 30 pounds lighter than him, but I just don't get the ASS WHOMPING vibe from him. Like how when Joe came up behind Kurt Angle, bloody and mad, you knew something was about to happen. I don't get that from Super Dragon. I cannot picture seeing a SuperDragon match and going SOMEBODYS GONNA DIEEEEEEEEEEEE. I might go SOMEBODYS GONNA GET THEIR NECK STOMPED ON, but it's not the same. It's like "THIS WILL BE STIFF" instead of "OH SHIT HE'S GONNA FUCK HIM UP", you know what I mean? This feels like it's contradictory between what I said earlier about people believing in him, but maybe they get that feeling from him and I don't. He's just never impressed me in that way. So I like that other people believe in him, that's nice to see and wrestling should be fun, but it's not going to happen for me.

P.S. Benno told me that he looks like what would happen if American Dragon and El Generico (sans-mask) had a child.
P.P.S I think he has consistancy problems. Are you a serious bad-ass, or did you name a move the barry white driver?

Was it an Exploder '98? Or was it just a regular Exploder?
Man, we need to get better hobbies than talking to each other on wrestling forums about things we've both seen.

My take on Super Dragon:

He has a neat mask which is immediately undone by housing the rest of his non-physique in sausage casing. Basically I had heard a lot about Mr. S. Dragon and then when I saw him, I was like, "This?" He kind of bores me when he wrestles, and the only match of his I ever really enjoyed was watching Joe just whale on him in PWG. Basically, I view him as a short, squat, bemasked BJ Whitmer, and I think that should say it all.

I don't know, the Super Dragon discussion didn't really go anywhere. Are you guys liking this? With the absence of feedback in the feedback forum and the lack of participation in the List of Shit, I'm starting to get down on the entire endeavor.

I like Raven a lot. He got unfairly treated in WWE. Say what you want about WCW but they used him pretty well, probably because he was pals with Eric "Silver Fox" Bischoff. I believe that he has a weight problem but I'm not too bothered by that. If it effects his wrestling though he might have to hang his boots up.

FUN FRIDAY FACT: Did you know that one of Raven's legs are longer than the other?

I fucking loved Raven when I was younger. I thought he had the coolest outfit and was a total badass. I loved how he acted, his moves, his promos, everything. He was a regular in my top 5 and I loved the Evenflow.

Then I just forgot about him, then he came to WWE and kinda sucked, then he went to TNA and was ok but not as good as before, then I stopped caring entirely. But I still love watching old ECW and WCW stuff of him.

Oh man, I used to think Raven was soooo coool in WCW with his scraggly hair and ratty ring attire. and then they ruined him, like WCW ruined everything good they had going.

didn't really care for anything he did in the WWF, short of putting Moppy in a woodchipper and getting beaten up by Kurt Angle.

annnd he had a pretty cool feud (from my memory) that actually got me ordering the weekly TNA show to see him fight Jarrett for the title, which actually managed to hold my interest until they tried to push Disco Inferno as a world title contender.

aside from that I heard he had a pretty cool feud with CM Punk, but I don't really care about anything he does anymore.
When getting even means risking it all.
