It's not his wrestling in WWE that I have problem with. In all fairness, his WWE matches generally consist of him getting his ass kicked for a few minutes before he hits his admittedly gorgeous moonsault. So it's not as if he has much of a chance to showcase whatever it is he brings to the table.

It was his time spent in ROH on which I base his shittiness. In the six months or so that he was there, he had one match that I liked, and that was the Danielson match (and it was pretty much all Dragon). I think the main reason I didn't like his matches was because his offense looked like dogshit. His kicks are supposed to be his main offense, and they're consistently sloppy as fuck. His stuff just struck me as horribly phony looking.

I'm really glad WWE hired him back, because as I've already said, I love his character now, and I can look past the in-ring skill and enjoy him for what he is.

I second the dislike of Jimmy Yang, based largely on the fact that his offense looks awful. He throws karate kicks that barely ever connect (even in the pulled punch kind of connect), he shares a finishing move with Kushinbo Kamen and about 95% of Chikara, and he brings the terrible indy wrestling non-selling into an organization that is made or broken by the ability to sell*. He seems like a nice guy and I don't frown on his successes, but I don't ever want to see him wrestle, if I can choose.

Thirding the Jimmy Yang un-love. His matches in ROH were boring as hell at best. Jimmy Wang Yang is the first time I have enjoyed Jimmy Yang. It has nothing to do with his wrestling ability. It mostly has to do with his moustache grin and the best theme song of all time.
