That's a great idea, and promises Baltimore at least a fourth place finish every year.

You have the right idea, I think. It seems to me that the easiest way to handle that move would be to put the Marlins in the NL West, and move Pittsburgh to the NL East. They're in Central now because Pittsburgh is closer to Cincinnati than it is to Philadelphia or New York.

Alternate idea: Marlins to AL West; Devil Rays to NL East to give them a reasonable chance to stay out of the fucking gutter for once. That'd make the AL East the short division, which is fine because most people think there are only two teams in it anyway.

I don't want another team in the NL West, I love our division!

Plus my idea means when I move I can see Phillies games more than just one month a year.

With the added twist of having to do so in a giant ugly warehouse.

I'm going to add that although Homega Man is the best Halloween segment of all time, the best Simpsons moment (ever) goes to Fly vs. Fly for the utter brilliance of "CAT'S EAR MEDICINE."

it's funny that you mention san diego. i've never been there, but i have it on pretty good authority that it's fantastic, and is highest on my list of places i want to go.

i had a step brother, and 4 friends who have moved out there, and never given a thought to coming back.

plus it would give me an excuse to like the chargers.

If/When you go, try to stay near the gaslamp district. You'll be close to the ballpark, and also near a 5 block stretch of bars, jazz and other kinds of music, comedy shows, movie theaters, etc. that say open as late as 3 or 4 (even on weeknights.) Just a fabulous atmosphere, and my favorite city that I've visited in America. Awesome buildings combined with the perfect weather make it an A-Plus

Oh man, you need to see Southern California! You'll never want to leave. San Diego is awesome and I've always wanted to live there for at least a year. Unfortunately it costs as much as LA does now, sometimes more. I love living in LA because you have the city, Orange County, San Diego 2 hours away, Vegas 4 hours away, the mountains 2 hours away, the desert an hour away, and the beach right outside your door. The 2 hour drive to SD is nothing though, I drive there and back in a day all the time.

Edit: I bolded Phoenix because I agree with Folby. It's o-kay. I don't hate it. Arcosanti is there!

Top 10 places I've been to (out of state):

10) Panguitch Lake, UT (Bryce & Zion Canyons as well)
9) Shelby, MS
8. NYC, NY
7) Las Vegas, NV
6) Memphis, TN
5) Cleveland, OH
4) Lake Tahoe, NV
3) Maui, Hawaii, then Oahu, then Lanai, then the Big Island
2) Seattle, WA
1) Niagara Falls, NY/Canada
