I could be wrong, but I didn't think there was enough room behind the door. I agree that he was gone by the time the sheriff sits down on the bed. I wanted an explanation of how he got out. Even if all he did was push the sheriff down and ran off.

Got around to watching "I Am legend"

Spoilers Follow

We loved it, it was a fantastic movie, and i understand what everyone said about the third act, but I didn't think that it was as bad as some people mentioned here on the board, it didn't really detract from the movie at all. My wife and I both agreed that the ending was great and it was kind of refreshing to not see a movie with a typical happy ending, I mean, there still is a happy ending, but not in the normal sense of the word. It was still very sad bust seemed more real that way.

Sweeny Todd. Whelp. The jury is still out on this. It's a very stylish film, and the songs are fun. The plot isn't very strong though, and there isn't a lot of depth to most of the characters. I found myself not giving a shit about the subplot with the young sailor. I don't know anything about the musical, so I can't comment on how well they adapted it.

I saw Sweeney last night and enjoyed it. I was expecting the music to be better, but for what it was, I was entertained.

Saw I Am Legend today, and again, enjoyed it. I must echo that I thought the first and second act were much better, but the last act was far from intolerable. It was just a bit... lesser than the rest.

i saw charlie wilson's war (which i have since referred to as tony, owen and luke wilson's war for the intrinsic comedy) and it was real funny but much like basically everything else aaron sorkin is involved in it makes me hate current america and hope for future jed bartlet america

it's quite funny much in the same way other aaron sorkin projects are - people cracking jokes without stopping to see if they land

movie marathon with the ladyfriend this weekend.

sweeney todd had style and was better than the staged version i had seen prior, but still wasn't too great. music was good though.

i am legend was pretty neat, and i had not a problem with the "third act," which held up just as well.

walk hard was the clear winner of the bunch. picking up the two-disc soundtrack on itunes asap.

x 10000

If Hot Rod didn't exist and I wasn't a total retard for it, Walk Hard would've been an easy choice for my favorite movie I've seen all year. It's just so wonderfully put together. I marked out for some of the cameos (like Frankie Muniz) and could seriously watch just two hours of those four guys doing shitty impressions of the Beatles.

And oh man, that joke about the Temptations at the end is one of the finest jokes ever put onto film.

I really just want to watch the Beatles scene over and over again (the beatles! you have to stop fighting! in india!). And the minor Ghostface cameo. And I think it'll be one of the very few movies I buy on DVD cause I feel they cut a whole lot out.

It is an injustice that there were some 10 people in the theater (in a movie theater attached to a huge mall on freaking christmas) and a movie with a tagline of "GET MUNK'D" was sold out.
