So here's how it'll be. I don't know how big everyone is willing to make their lists; I looked over all the albums and my initial list was only 22. So, and I think this should work: make your list as big as you want, with a 25-song maximum. I won't take away points for smaller lists, if you send 10 songs, your #1 pick will still be worth 25 points and your #10 pick will still be worth 16 points. I don't wanna alienate people by having the list be too demanding, or I don't think we'll get enough votes.

The length of this list will be determined by how many different songs get enough votes. So I don't know if it'll be 20, 25, 50. That's up to you! Sort of. I'm hoping that our top 15 isn't full of songs that got one or two really good votes, so please contribute!

PM me your lists by Thanksgiving weekend. That's a good two weeks. I should have something ready shortly after that.

Remember, this is a subjective list. It's a list of YOUR favorite songs, not everyone else's. Only include Beatles songs; no Imagine, Maybe I'm Amazed, or It Don't Come Easy. And I strongly recommend you use these lists for finding everything nice, or in case you forget some songs:

I never did that point system because it encourages apathy, and because keeping everything "even" encourages too many equalities in scores.

I'm just worried that there aren't enough people who both enjoy the Beatles enough to make a list and enough to make a 25-song list. If someone can only think of 10 songs they really love they might be discouraged to make a list at all. I'm hoping I don't get too many lists below 15-20 songs but I don't think that'll be the case.

Question: Would something like Golden Slumbers/Carry That Weight/The End count as three songs (as, technically, it is three songs), or would it be acceptable to be listed as one song (since it all flows together and is often played on the radio as though it is one song)?

I'll have my list in soon. I finally have my list down to about 25, but ranking them is going to take a long time.

I'm really posting to remind people of the Past Masters and Anthologies. The Beatles discography on Wikipedia doesn't list them, or Magical Mystery Tour, as prominently as their regular catalogue.

Do they have to be written by the Beatles, or can I list, for example, "Roll Over Beethoven"? Also, do you want them sent 1-25 or 25-1?

1-25 is preferable, and anything the Beatles recorded in a studio is fair game.
