Wow, I have so much disagreement with that list.

EDIT:
In ascending order:

'Everyday' by Dave Matthews Band
'Going Somewhere' by Colin Hay
'Parachutes' by Coldplay
'So Long' by Louque
'Best of Red Hot Chili Peppers' by Guesstimate Jones
'Decadence' by Head Automatica
'Our Live Album is Better than Your Live Album' by Reel Big Fish
'Mutemath' by MuteMath
'5 to 2' by Westbound Train
'Morning View' by Incubus

I guess I have relatively conventional tastes.

Is the lowercase letters to indicate sarcasm? Cause lol.

Re-edited so it's not "10 albums in the order I thought of them"

1. Elliott Smith - From a Basement on the Hill
2. Wilco - Yankee Hotel Foxtrot
3. Beck - Sea Change
4. Aimee Mann - Bachelor No. 2
5. Radiohead - Hail to the Thief
6. Ryan Adams - Heartbreaker
7. Kanye West - Late Registration
8. Elliott Smith - Figure 8
9. The Strokes - Room on Fire
10. Outkast - Stankonia

Top 10 is lame. Give a nigga top 50.

Yeah, I wondered whether or not I should put live albums on or not, but I decided to go ahead with it, based on the fact that there were no real outlines or anything. I hereby remove it, and tack on 'Maroon' by Barenaked Ladies to the remaining spot.

If the Best of Chili Peppers is too out there too, I can make other arrangements for that too. That was another I was second guessing.

I don't know. I love how epic that song is. It starts out as a relatively low key reggae affair, the call-and-response chorus is a sonic punch in the face and the shift in the middle of the song to an anthemic call-to-arms always makes me want to raise my fist and shout along. Oh, and the crescendo during the bridge is totally rad.

Hellz yeah! Sometimes I feel like the only dude in the universe who likes RFTC. "Group Sounds" was a crazy rockin' album.

I would add to this thread, but my knowledge of newer music (~5 years) is embarassing. Somewhere along the line I stopped paying attention, for some reason. My list would be shameful.

Thinking about this, I realized I simply don't pay attention to current music, really. So, here's the list I was able to come up with:

1. SMiLE- Brian Wilson (I don't care if bits and pieces came out on various Beach Boys albums, and all the music was technically written in the 1960s...the album, in its complete form, was not released until 2004, so I'm counting it)
2. Alice- Tom Waits
3. i- the Magnetic Fields (this would be 69 Love Songs, but that was released in 1999, so it doesn't count)
4. Have You Fed the Fish?- Badly Drawn Boy
5. American IV: The Man Comes Around- Johnny Cash
6. Endless Wire- The Who
7. Reconstruction Site- the Weakerthans
8. Tenacious D- Tenacious D
9. Has Been- William Shatner
10.The Moldy Peaches- The Moldy Peaches
