So, wait, do they always do this thing where they take out the villians and then suddenly out of nowhere a new one takes his place? Because it really feels like the day should be done, but then, oh no China decided to fuck with Jack again moments after Plot 1 was taken out.

I think every season sees either a change-of-threat or change-of-villain at about midseason.

That kind of seems lame. I think it would be so much cooler if the entire 'day' was based around one threat instead of 'Plot 1 followed quickly by Plot 2.'

I still think it would be cooler though. Maybe I'm spoiled by shows like LOST into thinking that the end of each season should be the climax of the entire season. I like that format better.

Yeah, but he had a moment this episode that may be my favorite of the season to this point (He looks at the bodies strewn about the warehouse floor, then at a hanging Fayed. "Damn, Jack.")

I briefly thought last week that the season was going to take a turn for the better with this new Jack-centric plotline. Then I realized as I was watching this episode that I don't give a shit about Audrey and don't think she's worth making Jack late for a dental appointment much less treason and possibly allowing for World War III.

Audrey with amnesia? Saw it and was bored with it in the first season.

I'm still watching. Or rather, I'm watching now after missing the middle of the season. And, I'll admit, I was more excited about Heroes during the commercial breaks. And I just can't deal with Bill Buchannon Marriage Drama Subplot B, even though I love that man more than possibly anyone else alive.

As far as the slapshod plotting, I just thought it was assumed that the creative team is making is up as they go along. Like this year they would've delt with Fayed longer but Kim Raver's other show got cancelled, so they shoehorned her in at the last minute.

I'm watching, but mostly so I can have something to discuss with my dad.

The episode was decent at best, until the very end. Then it just became lame and boring again. Oh no, not amnesia! And good god, was Kim Raver's acting ever horrible. It was on par with Woodside's collapse last week.

i don't think it's amnesia, just flat out craziness. which i must admit i like the idea of.

I'd be all for her being crazy if I was confident she could pull it off. But after what I saw of her last night, I'm gonna go ahead and say that it'll be awful either way.
