I thought we could use a steady announcement thread to keep track of everything, since we've got a month to go and we want EVERYBODY who can possible come to this to come to this. This includes Justin, who we're hoping can use some of the National Lampoon money to make it out, and Mike, who needs to just get a job working for the Burger King and get his ass to California.

So, who is still definitely coming? We can use this for discussion of plans, organization, arrival/departure times for best planning, whatever. And we can set up some kind of organized chicken tournament for the INDOOR POOL YALL

Lindy and myself are arriving midday on Thursday in time for the Gunslinger show on Friday, the Fest on Saturday and Sunday, and a day of sight-seeing in San Francisco on Monday. We leave early afternoon on Tuesday.

I'm not sure what time we're leaving, but hopefully I can pick up my paycheck before we start driving on Friday and deposit it. Heh. Kristen and I will be there Friday afternoon - Monday sometime.

Since I live in the area I will come whenever I feel like it, which is Friday for Gunslinger/after-party and Saturday for after-party.

I'm arriving early afternoon on Thursday and leaving at about the same time Monday. It is important to note, however, that I'm flying into/out of Oakland. Thats not a big deal on Monday but I know its kind of awkward for Team White Hanstock on pickup day.


And I'm not playing chicken.

I can come Thursday night or Friday in the morning. We start off in San Jose for the Gunslinger show right? So I'd go straight there. Then I'll leave on Sunday afternoon or so. Are we all going to stay in the hotel Ryan booked? Or is that for specific people. If it's for everyone when do we give the money or should we just give cash in person?

P.S. what is playing chicken?

I do believe the plan is for everyone to stay in the rooms Ryan booked. Whether he and Bill will accept repayment for the cost has been up for some debate.

Playing chicken is when there are two dudes with two other people on their shoulders in a pool, and the people on top try to push each other off. They did it in Chicago or something.

I would like to leave early, maybe around 8:30 so that gets us there by 3pm (quicker if i don't have to stop 6 times to pee, which I will, so forget about it) then we will check into our hotel in SJ and take a nap because that drive takes it out of me. What time can you get your check?

One other very important thing that no one has mentioned yet for God knows what reason is that Ryan "White" M. "Panther" White is turning 28 on October 20th (AKA Saturday night of the meetup) so shit is going to be cracking loose in San Francisco all God damn night long that evening.
