The dryer in my new apartment has an "Intelligent Dry" feature that actually works. I just put the clothes in, set it to "more dry", and let it run, and when it is done, my clothes are completely dry. No guessing, no second and third and fourth run, no "hmm... maybe just 40 minutes this time". It just dries my laundry and then tells me when it is dry.

Not to be a dick, but I think most dryers do that sweets.

That's fine, but I've never had that before!

My parents had an ancient washer/dryer combo that was hand-assembled by Henry Ford before he thought up the assembly line. Then I moved into the dorms in college and it was all time-based because that way they get more money. My apartment in the latter half of college had that feature on its dryer, but it never worked, so we always had to go with the time-based method.

So now I am happy about something and you cannot take that away from me

in most dryer you don't even have to put clothes in and they stay Dryer-Fluffy-and-Warm for at least six days

We never had a dryer that did that until a year ago. Our previous dryer was over 20 years old though and didn't even have such a futuristic feature to not work.

One of my best friends gave me a card today and she wrote this long thing about how grateful she is to have me in her life. She went on and on about how we've been friends for so long and we've experienced things together that we never could with new friends we'd make as adults. This particular friend is my brother's ex-girlfriend, they went out for 2 years almost 10 years ago, it could be all kinds of awkward but it's not. The card made me cry. I'm just so happy she and I are still friends despite everything.

I got the most awesome shades ever today. They're just like, oh man, they're tinted purple and the lenses are just these rectangles and they're exactly what I've been looking for and now my life is complete.

EDIT:

I was walking my dog and this girl skidded to a halt in front of me. Expecting a hurl of abuse I sort of like leered at her but I don't think she noticed because she just said "Hey, I like your t-shirt!" then pedalled away. I was sort of confused but it put a smile on my face for a few minutes. Then my dog had diarreah >=I

Have you actually seen Leonard Part 6? I must warn you that it is somewhat disappointing.

are you trying to say that a movie remembered only for being so terrible it's own creator told people not to see it might be bad in some way

it is like people around here enjoy watching bad movies

on purpose

(seriously though bill can you write about it because apparently the main villain is an evil vegetarian and sarcastic or not that is just great)

she is also the oracle from the matrix

I will not write about it because it is (an attempt at) a comedy and making fun of a comedy doesn't really work. This is the reason why the only comedic film MST3k ever did was that beach party movie that I can't remember the name of at the moment.

Also no one watches a bad movie and then comments on it anymore James haven't you heard
