You know why I like this thread? Because I was posting on dodgerblues.com's forums for a while and everyone was so private on there. NO ONE ever posted a picture on there, because they're all a bunchy of superficial pussies and if they did, it'd get made fun of in a second. I was one of two girls and ended up leaving because I didn't agree with a couple of guys on there about something mundane and they didn't like it and started calling me fat and ugly everyday just because I liked baseball, played softball and talked like one of the guys on there. Here, everyone's themselves and no one's superficial and if they are, they don't speak up about it, because everyone here pretty much accepts everyone for kicking ass at being themselves and making themselves and this place so personal on the internet. And that's why I like it here. That said, I guess I'll fill this out again.

Name: Alicia
Location: Torrance, CA
DOB: August 20th, 1980
A favorite author: C.D. Payne
Two songs you enjoy: "My Father's Gun" by Elton John and "Twilight" by Elliott Smith
Some movies you like: Stand by Me, Fight Club, American History X, Shawshank Redemption, Memento, Swingers
Some things you are looking forward to: Base ball, my own sports teams, and I'm starting to look for a new job.
Your nerdy hobby: Sports, sabermetrics, photography, and I'm a lazy video game player, meaning, I can never find anyone to play with me nor the time to play myself. I'm fascinated by architecture and museums and oceanography and any science-related stuff. I also could read demographics on any subject all day.
Good advice you got from someone else: I've only received good advice recently that helps only myself out specifically, mostly pointing out to me that I need to stop letting guys use me.
Something interesting about yourself: I was majoring in psychology to be a psychiatrist for about a year before my life took a major turn. I'm extremely happy with how things turned out (career-path-wise, I mean), but I always feel like I wish I could be all the things I've always thought I could be and have fun doing, and I hate that time and money make things so limiting because I want to learn so much and do so many different things.
How you became a regular visitor to Progressive Boink: Someone posted about The Dugout on Livejournal and I read a few, then someone who doesn't even post on here (maybe they do?) told me to join the forums, so I did, and I became a regular Dugout reader and poster, etc.
P-Boi feature/article you liked: The Dugout, durrr.
