I finished the actual glove (or gauntlet I guess) part of the arm, except for the bolts and screws and such. It takes a full minute or so to get off but I really love it.

A guy I used to work with dressed up as Silent Bob for a shift (we're servers), and he actually did not talk the entire time. He kind of gestured and would write things down occasionally. He made a ton of money, and it was hilarious, especially since he does kind of resemble Kevin Smith anyway.

I went all over town yesterday looking for a cloak and such. I finally found something that I can modify into what I want. Cool.
I also now own 100 black hair elastics.
I plan on finishing the arm soon. I'll be doing the upper arm today.

Does anyone know how to sew? I need to do something. It's not complicated, but tips are appreciated. I want to cut off the bottom third or so of a black dress shirt, cut the cuffs off, and add thin white trim to all of the edges (including around the collar).

Nope, I'm going as Pam, I have this gray business skirt that's too big for me, a striped business shirt that matches the skirt, and I'm going to get some cheap white "Keds" from Payless right now. When I don't blow dry my hair, I can easily make it look as crappy as Pam's, since it's naturally curly. I almost didn't have to pay for anything, except I need those shoes.
