I've got a plan, Bill. It's just crazy enough to work. On April 28th, you shall fly into Dayton, OH. From there, you will flag a cab and head to the Dayton County Fairgrounds Coliseum where you will meet up with me (and some club seating tickets), and we shall watch Ring of Honor live.

I didn't pay attention to print ads or promotion, but I did see a few TV commericals that aired during TNA and RAW before they came through.

Ring Of Honor is an independant wrestling promotion based primarily in the north east and the midwest. They capitalize on the small but dedicated minority of fans that value good wrestling over almost everything else.
ROH debuted in Febuary of 2002 as primarily an indy 'dream match' promotion. What that means is that they'd get the best indy workers from around the country and just put them in matches against each other, without too much regard for storylines or face/heel dynamics. Since then, the company has evolved into a company with faces, and heels, and all kinds of characters and storylines. The focus, however, always remains on wrestling. None of the gimmicks are especially rediculous, and nothing is done unless it's with wrestling in mind.
ROH is the premire independant wrestling company in the country. Some people would tell you it's the best wrestling in the country. And by and large, it is. No company puts on such great matches time and time again.
That's basically the gist of it. A small company that puts on great match after great match.
