we up ho ho ho dated a quote from santa the legend

https://www.progressiveboink.com

Surprise number 1 - Winter, and EASILY our most beautiful design ever. Mike Fireball, you are God's gift to women and men who don't necessarily want to kiss you but who would hug you very hard and think about it. I think it's safe to say we're one of the most visually pleasing sites going, especially right now. Christ, man, thank you.

Surprise number 2 - EMILY YASE~! After her hiatus the best reason to make grotesque event declarations about your vagina is back with an AWESOME part 1 post that Jon is going to absolutely adore. I know we've got a lot of Stephen King fans here so I urge everybody to give it a read and tell her how much you loved it. We love you, Post Mortemily, and we're all better to have you back. Stay plz

Surprise number 3 - the man is a midget

midget

midget

Classic P-Boi will be up in a little bit and the forum will follow with the new design as soon as Fireball can get to it. I'll do two Dugouts tomorrow (one for the archives) to make up for not having one today. Writers block has been kicking my ass so I had to really bear down to get this post finished up. I hope you like it. Especially Justin.

So yeah. Enjoy, folks. Snowball catchin' net and the like.

Is the Stand article spoiler free? My girlfriend will be quite unhappy with me if I know what's going to happen when we watch it.

She's pretty insistent that I watch it with her.

M-O-O-N. That spells spoiler.

Nope, it's incredibly spoiler filled. But it's also like 12 years old, so I think your girlfriend has missed the window for you to see it spoiler free.

Welcome back, Emily. I'm Bill. B, Lindy and Justin know me. Maybe you will, too.

You know, I've never seen that one either, but it was spoiled by a Peanuts cartoon where Lucy spoiled it for either Charlie Brown or Linus.

I promise to read it after I watch it.

Emily's post should look normal now. Now if you will excuse me, I'm going to chuck a burning werewolf at the house of whatever fucking idiot with the same fatal disease your grandmother had because I feel like hurting your goddamn feelings programmed Microsoft Frontpage.

Fireball always impresses me with his gorgeous site designs. They are the kinds of designs that make me instantly jealous that I can't design sites that good and instantly optimistic and inspired that maybe one day I can make a site look that good.

I'm so glad to see something by Emily! I loved The Stand and had a tape of it that was recorded off of television in which the recurring music sounded incredibly warbly. It has some of the worst acting, directing, and visuals of any movie I've ever sat through and I love the heck out of it.
And Jon's made me chuckle quite a bit. Good times

Alright, the forum is ready, so if anything still looks autumnal to you then do the ol' Control+F5. Or whatever you do for a hard refresh on Macintoshes.

Jon Bois, I saw the headline for your article, and my first thought was, "Jesus, so that wasn't a fucking hallucination." I too have seen the video before now. You are a good man.

1.5 hours into the 2 hour video creation process, the guy apparently figured out how to do the circle-wipe thing. In case you've been wondering, yes, I am condescending upon the filmmaking ability of someone despite having zero experience with such things myself.

Having more than zero experience in such things, which is really only three different levels of college television production classes but hey that's still more than zero, I endorse the above statements. I always made sure to do or at least play a large part in directing all the digital editing in my groups so as to guarantee a ban of the fucking circle wipes & any other dorky looking wipes unless (a) someone gets me the rights for the zoom-in Batman logo, or (b) our project is to film a soap opera character having a dream. Let's pretend we actually want to keep a straight face while showing these at job interviews, ok shitheads? Thanks.

I don't think I'll ever stress how much joy you guys bring me every Wednesday morning at work when I actually have time to read the update. Especially Emily, who makes me giggle like someone blew on my stomach & made that fart noise when she writes like that.

This is the first time in ages I've been able to read all three articles in one go and provide feedback.

A solid week. Great comeback from Emily. Quintessential B. Haven't seen The Stand or many R.Kelly music videos but I dug the articles nonetheless.

But I felt Jon wrote the article of the week. I cracked up repeatedly. Everything was pitch-perfect. Perfect jokes. Perfect timing. Great, yet simple structure. Excellent work.

Well guess what I made the new design completely out of.

I'm not sure, but the post/reply buttons look spiffy.

Great articles as always.

Emily's was top-notch. I saw about five minutes of that 8-hour movie once. Didn't really impress as much as the book did.

B...have you watched The Boondocks yet? The included a good parody of R. Kelly on there too, concerning his "relations" with 14 year old girls, with Adam West as his lawyer.

Bravura for Jon. Reminded me of a similar video for Marion Military Academy.

All in all, you all deserve bows.

Wow, fucking hilarious update this week.

Emily's description of The Stand is a terrific comeback and giving me an entertaining summary of a poorly made mini series I'll never take the time to watch. I'm definitly looking forward to the rest.

B, hahahahaaha, wow.

Biggs rubs it in, demanding Kelly stay conscious long enough to hear that "I'M THE ONE WHO DID THIS TO YOU." I just wish he had a ramp to walk up smirking.

Any situation displaced to a WWE type setting makes me laugh. Classic stuff.

Jon... My gawd. I didn't stop laughing until about reason number 12 when I became self aware of my own unending laughter, but the following anecdote about the "quiet assholes" and the guy just sitting there had me rolling for a full 3 minutes in and of itself before continuing. Gold medal sir, good jaerb Thomas Haden Church

I fucking adore the winter design. Them shits is gorgeous. Also, Fireball owes me some cleans shorts.

I must say that it's ood to have Emily back. When I'm home for the break, I think I'll scrounge up our taped-off-of-the-original-broadcasts copy of The Stand just to see how remarkably bad it really is.

B, the article is mighty funny, but it could've used more wrestling jokes. I'm dead Breakfast Serious. Everything could use more wrestling jokes. Always.

And Jesus tittyfucking Christ! That video was like something out of Tom Goes to the Mayor. I mean that as a good thing, because it was so bizarre and hilarious. Jon, your commentary was icing on the cake. That is, if icing on a cake made me laugh so hard that I almost peed my pants.

Go team!
