I figure this is a good little tile for the ladies and gentlemen that enjoy the cute games like Animal Crossing and Harvest Moon, and can sound a big A-WOOO-GA! when a new game is released that is more cute than blood thirsty. Puzzle games included.
I figure it's real late, but I'll mention Chibi Robo since it's nothing but cute.
It's a simulation rpg I guess, because you play a tiny robot that picks up after a dysfunctional family. There is a little bit of fighting involved, and you get your own lazergun to kill the Spydorz.
But, I reccommend it once the price drops if you are into cute games that aren't super-dumb for toddlers. |

This is the only thing they've been demo-ing at Blockbuster and Wal-Mart for the last couple of weeks. But I don't play demos at Blockbuster and Wal-Mart.

Oh, god. Does Nintendogs count?
That is the most guilt-inducing game I have ever been privy to. I can't pick up that cartridge again. God only knows how filthy they are by now. I haven't touched it in months. Not since a friend loaned me Phoenix Wright.
They're just so goddamn cute.

Oh god. You just reminded me that I haven't touched my copy of Nintendogs since like November.
...Fuck, I haven't checked on my Animal Crossing: Wild World town in a few months either. To say nothing of the Cube one, which I haven't been to in at least a year.

OH SNAP! to you then.
Your Cube mught have lost some villagers and become overrun with weeds, but It seems to hit a certain point where it doesn't errode to hell. I bet 6 mos. is the maximum damage done/lost.
No clue about the DS games but this totally puts weight on buying one. I think they might have nintencats now, too. I've seen cats and gods for the GBA,
The only thing that gets me with the pet games, is I have pets in real life, so after like the 4th hour of playing, I'm like "Shit, I'm a negligent idiot. My real cat is way cuter and way lonlier right now."
I'll have to look into Pinata. oh PS! MR. Pants is a fun-ish puzzle. The premise is to take teris-ish shapes and piece them together in matching colours to make them disappear, until you've cleared the screed. Addictive. |
