Have the20goto10 come out with a full album or EP, because if they did I need it this instant. |
Not that I know of. I've only got their two songs, but every few months I'll scour the Internet and see what I can find relating to post-Impossibles music. Between the20goto10, Nineteen Ninety-Now! and Slowreader I'm pretty content.

Desaparecidos? blah. Statistics, yo.
Bruddah Iz singin "Somewhere Over The Rainbow" is the business.
And I can't believe anyone has heard of Jens Lekman. He's amazing.
My addition? Filthy Thieving Bastards. _________________

I'm shocked that White Panther didn't bust out shit like Faraquet, the Displaced, Gregory Page, and Last Great Liar.
I know the Arrogant Sons of Bitches through 21deadmonkeys.
Also, everyone needs to buy or download every album from Drag the River right this second. _________________ And this is a promise, because this is true. This is real. This is Straight Edge.

Damn, man, we gotta keep some shit to ourselves...
also... I caught Jens at a Crosstide (add "17 nautical miles" to the list) show here in San Diego, and he gave us everything he had. Out-fucking-standing.
EDIT: and since we're giving everything away...

Does anyone have either of their new CDs? KOLS Learns the Songs of Phil Ochs or In the Red?
I really liked Bridges Worth Burning. "Following Days" is badass.
Also, Ben Barnett has a side project (he drums) called Novi Split. They're also very good. Here's some free songs.

Mishka's self-titled release.
A friend of mine found it in the 25 cent bin at Rasputin Records. Incredible. _________________

It doesn't seem to work anymore, I guess I'll delete it.
Anyway, it was supposed to link to an album that contained random sound effects and cacophony. It was called "Vedder Vedder Bed Wetter" by To Live and Shave in L.A.. |

I know of this guy from New Orleans that goes by Luque (I think, it's just some wierd spelling of the name Luke) who sings sultry as fuck and I love it. It's somewhere between funk and New Orleans blues. My friend's sister lives in New Orleans and sent him a copy of some album the guy made. I don't own it, and I don't know the name of the album, but we've listedned to it enough in his car for me to be deep in love with it. Also, there is a song narrated by a fat kid who say's he's called "the jabber" cause he'll "jab the shit out choo." Comedy in its purest form.
I wish I had a link but I don't know any for him...
Also, there is this band called Project 86 that has a few great albums. The thing is, that their pretty damn popular, but no one I know personally save for two or three people have heard of them, and thats because we all heard of them from a mutual friend who worships them. Anyway, they have some really cool stuff. Here is their Myspace:

Apollo Sunshine.
They put out a new album not too long ago. It's worth checking out. I've got the hook up if anyone's interested. _________________
Didn't you know? Having uncontrollable shits is wicked scene.
|

They might have been big in a time when I didn't care about punk rock, but the Distiller's CD Coral Fang. They got a lot of crap for their first album cover art of a woman who was nailed to a cross like Jesus and spurting blood from her side. The album I got is the one with the wildlife and the explination as to why the other album cover got pulled off of stores shelves. _________________ Boiskov: He cries when he gets on an elevator and the button for his destination floor has already been pushed, because he would have liked to have been the one to push the button. |

I heard the song Hallow Again by them and like it a lot... anything specific by them that you'd recommend? _________________ Hey guys, guess who just became lactose tolerant! |

Wow, Project 86. That takes me back to the days when my first band used to play Christian festivals and whatnot. Their first album is good, anything after that is redundant. Kinda like how after Blindside made their first two records, they really should have just stopped. and other references to christian rap-metal bands _________________ And this is a promise, because this is true.
