https://www.progressiveboink.com/

While the rest of the staff is busy glued to their shiny new Xboxes, the rest of us decided to make jokes about Zelda & TV shows that you might remember from when you were of a younger age!

We're also doing a little something different with a long overdue Dugout special event starring the pr0f3ss0r, himself. B has written the first few pages of it for tonight, & the rest will be uploaded to wordupthome.com gradually for the rest of the week, ending next Tuesday.

Good luck with your future endeavors!

Now I feel retarded for liking My Brother and Me a lot when I was a kid. Article made me laugh, though.

Oh crap, My Brother and Me has some fond memories of Kendal Gill. I haven't read the article but when I read it tomorrow hopefully it mentions this

"DON'T HOLD YOUR BREFFFF"

Justin's article is good and should probably be longer.

That link on Evil Eagle's page was just...I don't even know. At the very least, they're wearing clothes.

Kyle Farnsworth needs a bazooka. That whole part was great. And Justin's article was awesome, though it could've been longer.

God, I remember hating My Brother and Me so much when I was a kid. Justin's article just reminds me of why I hated it and why it should be blotted from Nickelodeon's memory banks forever.

My favorite thing about "My Brother and Me" was that for the entire show, their favorite player was like Alonzo Mourning or Charles Barkley or someone, but when the time came to have them meet their idol, it was the available, willing-to-work-for-saltines Kendall Geeeeeeeeeeeeeeeell.

Well, Kendall Gill was in the very first episode, so they didn't really have time to establish a favorite player. Although later in the series' run, Dee Dee trades his favorite poster (Not mah Zoeeeee postah!) to Goo for a snake and a couple of mice.

I was lost in the chortle factory the entire time I was reading the Farnsworth Odyssey, with an occasional visit to the guffaw orchard.

Fuck, I had forgotten all about My Brother and Me. Specifically Goo Punch.

I also remember how that show was always on, just as you said. Man, did I ever hate that show.

Hyspace was great this week, especially the comments in Deku Tree's profile.

Farnsworth had me in stiches as well. Good show.

God. My Brother and Me...I think that's the first nostalgic article I've ever read that was about something I literally forgot all about until I read it. God was that show ever terrible. I have a good mind to go to the writers homes sneeze in some mashed potatoes while asking if I can have some so that they'll be backed into giving them to me. Or corn dogs. Maybe corn dogs.

I love Justin's style of writing. I don't think anyone on staff has a more overtly smartassed style of writing than he does, and I hope he's able to start writing more often. As a sidenote, the My Brother and Me theme song is one of the funniest songs in the world.

I think the Deku Tree addition to Hyspace is my favorite profile yet. In particular:

Quote:
'Tis as plain as the day is long. So that's about three minutes plain.

Quote:
A boy to come and climb into my trunk, and swing from my branches, and play in my shade, and throw my nuts at monsters and make them turn blue, and be happy.

Cracked me the fuck up.

This week's update was absolutely awesome, so it's kind of hard to pick a favorite, but I have to go with B's first few strips of the Kyle Farnsworth saga. The shit he's done with that character is so hilarious -- just about every other thing B has Farnsworth say makes me laugh out loud. Fuck. I mean, him trying to rent a bazooka at the airport, saying he's there to "enact revenge upon the Japanese", and laughing at Gabe Kapler at the end. Those are some of the funniest moments in Dugout history. We've been at the Dugout for over a year, and B has offered the latest example of why we can and should still be doing this in 200 years.

I've been waiting forever for some kind of event with Farny, and now we get a week long epic :excitedemoticon

The Deku Tree and Eyegore updates were just about the funniest things I've ever read in my life.

And I also remember My Brother and Me.
