This game is amazing.
I know I said that about Nintendogs, and Mario Kart, but I'll settle with being 2 for 3 (Nintendogs would be good, I just stopped playing it).
I finally got online yesterday (Nintendo Wi-Fi USB Connector!), and visited another town. There, I was given a golden shovel, an axe, and all the other kinds of fruit to plant in my town. Someone from his town sent me a letter, too!
I've already had my house remodeled once, and I'm paying off the mortgage on it now. Wi-Fi is great, especially with nice people. You can go to other towns and order things from their store, if they've bought something you want before (well, they can order it for you...same thing). Tons of different ways to customize the game. I never played the GC version of it, so it's pretty new to me still.
Anyway, the Wi-Fi makes this game infinitely fun, and the interactions with the animals are pretty cool too.
Anyone else have this game, or plan on getting it? _________________ pr0FF3ss0r_F4rnsw0rth: wait im sorry i made almost 2 million dollars last year to throw 20 fastballs every three or four days haha sorry jackalope capitalism rules |

I always thought the only thing the other Animal Crossing was missing was multiplayer. If I were to buy a DS, it would be solely for this game, I think.
Also, I hate the term "wi-fi." _________________

Yes, I find the term very comfortable as well. What is your gripe with it, friend? _________________

I hope you didn't plant any of them. Introducing foreign plant life to your ecosystem may reduce resources available to native species, which your animals depend on. It's a delicate balance, man. No golden shovel will save you when nothing will eat your next-town-over berries. _________________ "You're a pussy, Strong!"

I don't like the term "Wi-fi" because I think of "Wi" as "Wireless" which would make "fi" become "Fireless" and I just cannot do without wiring or firing. _________________

I will quite probably be getting a DS in the next few days, and Animal Crossing, Mario Kart, and Nintendogs are the three games I'm eyeing pretty heavily.
More on this as it develops. _________________ Never let scoundrels dictate the terms of honor to you. They'll always use it to manipulate good men into doing stupid things. |

My sentiments exactly. I want to get this game but first I need to spend my money on a tuxedo. After that, we'll see. _________________ Jon and Justin are smooth criminals and you have been struck by them |

May I also recommend Kirby: Canvas Curse? It's super rad.
The wireless-fireless feature is really cool. _________________ And this is a promise, because this is true. This is real. This is Straight Edge.

Holy crap I totally forgot Kirby Canvas Curse! That looked too cool.
Also included in this category of "ones I forgot" would be that Yoshi game with the clouds. _________________ Never let scoundrels dictate the terms of honor to you. They'll always use it to manipulate good men into doing stupid things. |

You could easily play for 30 minutes a day and walk away (Hey, why don't I just go and eat some hay? I could lay by the bay, make things outta clay..I just may! whaddya say?) _________________ pr0FF3ss0r_F4rnsw0rth: wait im sorry i made almost 2 million dollars last year to throw 20 fastballs every three or four days haha sorry jackalope capitalism rules |

Lindy's still in denial. She'll come around.
Hopefully she will come around here, so that our Nintendogs can play together. _________________ And this is a promise, because this is true. This is real. This is Straight Edge.

I think that living a fake life in a town of animals and actually just pretending to own an animal are two completely different things.
Also I buy animals for their warmth and for their fur.
Like they're still alive so that they produce it, not that I collect it. _________________

She means she wants to have a life because if she bought Animal Crossing all she'd ever do is sit around playing Animal Crossing. If she stays away from buying it she can do fun things like eat and sleep and breathe. Not that you are uncool if you play Animal Crossing. _________________

Oh, I know that part. I was just comparing Nintendogs and Animal Crossing.
I, uh, I guess I just don't like Nintendogs.
I won't play because, dammit, I already went through this whole Animal Crossing business once. I paid off my house, I got all the songs, I had a nifty design for my town, and now I'll have to start all over again? Heck naw. _________________

Whats with all the nintendog hate?
I just got animal crossing ds for Christmas, but I'm delaying opening it until I beat one of the games that I haven't completed yet. Soon I'll be in the throes of peaceful town addiction, I have no doubt. _________________ NO WIRE HANGERS!!!!!!! |
