Site is a play on Lite.
Nintendo DS Lite.
I don't speak-a Japanese, but here is a link to a website that does.
I saw this on another forum, the OP also had this to say:
| Quote: |
Nintendo DS Lite
Release Date: 2025-03-02
Price: 16800 Yen
Feature: 4 adjustable levels of brightness (ala PSP), thus the name "Lite"
Old Size: 149 x 85 x 29 = 275g
New Size: 133 x 74 x 22 = 218g |
I don't know if that comes from the article, or out of thin air, but that's what I've got.

Personally, I think the DS is perfect as-is, but then again, I have somewhat oversized hands. _________________ And this is a promise, because this is true. This is real. This is Straight Edge.

It looks cool as hell, but I'd rather just get an original model DS. They'll be cheaper, and while I don't have big hands, the DS really isn't all that big to begin with.
In other news, I get the feeling that this DS will sell like hotcakes (or whatever similar item they eat) in Japan. _________________

Especially since they've been running so low on DSes in Japan that some people resorted to importing them from the US. At least now we know why Nintendo wasn't bothering to replenish the stock.
Those importers have to feel screwed, though. |

I might consider it because it's lighter. While the DS isn't "heavy", it does tend to become a problem to hold after an extended period of time. Maybe that's because of the size, but it might be a combo of both. Whatever it is, I'd have to look into it.
Edit: Revolution style D-pad and perhaps buttons _________________ pr0FF3ss0r_F4rnsw0rth: wait im sorry i made almost 2 million dollars last year to throw 20 fastballs every three or four days haha sorry jackalope capitalism rules |
